Manga like Kingdom

What I am looking for is this a story with lots of battles like a war plenty of strategy in it though it does not have to be historical and is not too old no 90s or older manga please. It can be shounen or seinen does not really matter to me just not a normal action shounen like One Piece.

Well you can try.. Gate: Jietai Kanochi nite Kaku Tatakeri, Drifters, Vinland saga, RAIN (SUMIKAWA MEGUMI), Break blade, Tripeace, Sanzokuou, Shana Ou Yoshitsune, Darren Shan (Might be wrong but there's a war tag in it)

seconding shana ou yoshitsune

and although Ryuurouden is in 90s it has the feeling almost like Kingdom so it might worth a try.
