Hey guys!

So after my biggest hiatus from yaoi, I'm back to reading them again! And this time, I want something that's different and has a deeper thinking behind the story, not just your everyday happy-go-lucky yaoi couple.
Ok ok, to put it better in words, I want the story to have some actual thought behind it. Something like New York New York, it made me actually think about the things gay couple has to go through, or The limits that desire allows us, I had to read this one like 3 times to completely understand the meaning behind the story.
So yeah, something to make me think I guess? I don't even know what I'm looking for lol. Just something that's different I guess.

Thanks in advance
You guys are awesome biggrin

I don't think I can suggest anything that isn't already on one of your lists!

Maybe Shiiku Gakari Rika by MOTONI Modoru, the mangaka of the one you're reading now. (I see the prequel Tetsu x Rika is on your list.) I'm reading these now, and it's harsh stuff, not at all romantic.

Zankoku na Kami ga Shihaisuru by HAGIO Moto has just been completely scanlated. I haven't read it yet, but I've seen caps and know about the story, and it's not a lightweight read. If you haven't yet read her Heart of Thomas, now is the time!

Another classic shounen-ai, Kaze to Ki no Uta, is so heart-wrenching I had to take a break around vol.5.

Edit: Adding a few titles that I found to be unusual, that I didn't see on your lists.
Anata no Tame nara doko Made mo
Bath Towel
Shijin wa Ichinichi ni Shite Narazu
Shibuya de Aimashou

You okay with yaoi-novels? Hako no Naka is one of my favorites. Very deep and emotional.

@scarletrhodekia, honestly it wouldn't even matter if it's on my lists or not, I'm rereading a whole bunch of manga right now cause I've missed reading them so much >.<
So yeah, if there is anything on your mind even if it's on my lists, please feel free to write it down biggrin
Thanks for all the suggestions though, can't wait to start reading them!!

@serendipidy, I love novels ever since I started reading them initially with S (Novel). And that one is actually on my wish list, now I'm even more motivated to read it. Thanks ^.^
