All story that i can remember that is.....:

It is about 2 best friends (Maybe). A boy from city come to village (or outside the city). At first time he is very quiet person but when he meet friends.
I also remember there's a DUCK/GOOSE in story?

After that, 2 boys become actor becos 1 of the friends is very good at acting by just showing a good response (changing the dialog), then the MC gave up on acting with his friend... He was jealous with his friend...

Few years later.....?
Then they meet again (coincidence?) and drink together. They also told each other about their life. MC's friend also told him how difficult to be an actor

most things matches your descriptions like
- childhood friends
- meet again after time skip
- goose
- (voice) actors
- jealousy, friend gives up acting / now voice acting

The only big point that doesn't match is the death of the friend. This makes me a little unsure

Besides, officially the series is still uncomplete/dropped with 2 volumes + 2 uncompiled chapters (MU status not correct!) but don't worry the story ends smoothly for both pairings. At that time the mangaka intended to continue with a new story arc when the plagiarism incident popped up the scene so she wasn't allowed to continue as planned.

I am ACTUALLY SURE that the MC's friend was really "dead" by committing suicide (by hanging one's self) then the chapter is not updated.... (3 years ago i forgotten to bookmark it, now i missed the title until forgot to check)
