How do we not have this already?

Please add Magical. It can be used for anything from Magical girl series, or anything that involves magics revolving around the storyline (Such as Mahou Sensei Negima).

I feel stupid nobody has mentioned this already, lol.

Yes, I did read that it included Magic, but I think we should keep them seperate. When I think of Fantasy, I usually think of creatures that don't exist (Such as Zombies, Vampires, Dragons, etc).

Theres tons of manga that have magical influences, marking a seperate genre for them is important, isn't it?

anything that does not exists in the real world is fantasy. that includes magic. you'll just give the admins a headache.

By that logic, Supernatural, Fantasy, Mecha, and Sci-Fi should all be combined into one.

Isn't the point of the genre system to clarify things?

I believe all these genres are just a split form of a large genre, however, they're already split, why not add another one?

I'm not really a fan of this idea. In fact, I'm actually thinking of removing a few genre.

You are right, fantasy mostly refer to dragons, vampire, elf's trolls and the like... (zombies are mostly in horror though).
But I have yet to meet a single fantasy story that includes any of those elements that doesn't include magic to.
So mostly IMO magic and fantasy are closely linked, except in some cases. (which include the mahou shoujo genre). But those exception aren't that important IMO (quantity wise not quality... I'm not going to judge them here.).

Thanks God! If you can, please remove the Tragedy genre. It's completely unnecessary, and it could spoiler the story and ruin some plot twists.

That was one of the ones I'm considering removing.
