I don't see the 8-tails spontaneously wanting to help another jinchuuriki for some reason. My bet would be on the 8-tails' brother would be the one to seek out Naruto, if anything. I would agree if not for the fact that Madara has the utmost confidence in Sasuke's victory and Kishimoto's tendency to have Sasuke pull a victory from out of nowhere, I'd say this battle was over. It would be pretty awesome to see Naruto be able to transform at least to a 1-tailed state at will, since the 8-tails can, though Naruto controlling the kyuubi is not something I see him doing. Then maybe Jiraiya's 3 year training regiment wouldn't seem so damn pointless.

Actually I'm sort of content with this chapter.
Hopefully Sasuke will be permanently disfigured *insert evil laughter*, or at least scared on his chest. That can serve as a mark that he isn't invincible.

I think something might happen to the 8-tails as a side effect of Sasugay Sharingay
next chapter. I mean this couldn't have been all that Sasuke's nuclear reactor sign eyes did...

So far there's been quite a few hints that different people have different Mangekyo Sharingans, and I really doubt Sasuke's eyes have the same ability as Itachi's. Sasuke's eyes might be able to do something besides genjutsu, like Kakashi did.

Anyway it was still very awesome how 8-tails guy fought and how he countered the illusion. Naruto is way to stupid to think of that, but how come the Kyuubi itself never acted on its own to dispel genjutsu (all it takes is to insert some chakra which Kyuubi seems to be able to give Naruto).

On a side note: Just how much of Karin's body has bite marks on it? ...

This was a great chapter, but it just seems so pointless when you know that no matter what Sasuke aint gonna die. If there's one thing I hate about Naruto is how damn predictable it is, Kishimoto seriously needs to at least attempt to surprise us.

I like Naruto's concept of using sage techniques, but I gotta agree with you that this is what naruto should be like. Using his demon fox cloak made him really cool, and it sucks that he isn't trying to control the kyuubi. The sage techniques have to be way way cool if kishimoto expects us to forget about his kyuubi. lol.

Karin's body filled with bites makes me imagine a lot of pleasant things i don't wanna talk about,

This renders Mr. 8 immobile, HOWEVER this new eye technique puts too much strain on Sassy, so Mr. 8 uses that chance to attack lyke zomg. Blood spurts EVERYWHERE and Psychopathic Killer comes to Sassy's rescue . Sassy is fatally wounded, we see a flashback of Mr. Bones -pauses for the fangirls to scream- and Psychopathic Killer and Carrotop, who is COVERED in hickeys btw, prepare to heal Sassy!! Psychopathic Killer does some fancysmancy healing technique and Mr. 8 decides to let out his inner beast!! And his inner beast is... A OCTORAM WITH A TIKI MASK. Sassy's team is in for some trouble, what will they do without their leader. DUNDUNDUUUUUUN YOU'LL FIND OUT NEXT WEEK IN SASU- I MEAN NARUTO wh00t...

I don't understand what was so ownful about Sasuke's new starry sharigan @_@. Guess he just needs to master it or whatever #_#. And lol RAM. i do. seeing what the 8-tails is doing makes me wanna say, "Yamamoto was talking out of his ass". (well in a sense) i mean he's going through the same methods of transformation Naruto did and he's learned to control it. but instead Naruto has to learn how to modify his Sharringan in order to beat Sasuke..... seeing what the 8-tails is doing just makes what Naruto did seem like a huuuuge waste of time.
