I wanna read comedy mangas in which you can laugh to your heart content by the characters' weirdness, laziness, craziness ,etc... I especially suggest those have a group of friends, family,... living, working or studying together like :

And the last thing, NO ecchi (smut is ok), yaoi and yuri, please.

It's not shoujo, but I've never seen anyone dislike Yotsubato!. It should give you a good laugh, even if nothing else were able to.

How about Azumanga Daioh? I've only watched the anime but I thought it was funny. I think Lucky Star isn't bad either. I recommend watching the anime if you like them.

Try Boku to Kanojo no XXX, same author of My Heavenly Hockey Club.
It might have a little boy on boy action (but it's not shonen-ai or yaoi! Also I'm not reading scanlations though since I'm buying it), but that's only because of the body switch mishaps which is one of the main concepts of the story, maybe if you read the summary you'd understand.
The manga gives me a few laughs, by the way, prepare for major nosebleeds!
