Baccano would probably suit your tastes.

Steamboy

Origin - Spirits of the Past

Now and Then, Here and There

Simoun

Last Exile

Sakura Taisen Ouka Kenran (Sakura Wars OVA)

Escaflowne

Laputa: Castle in the Sky

Strait Jacket

Jin-Roh: The Wolf Brigade

Sorry Victorian/Steampunk is kinda hard to nail on the head. There is only a few that fit that perfectly others have it as sort of a mixed in subgenre. Usually w/ a dystopian setting.

Added to the list:
D. Gray-Man
Fullmetal Alchemist
Galaxy Express 999
The flying machines in Nausicaa and Future Boy Conan look pretty steampunk to me..
There's also something called Steam Detectives, but it's rubbish.

Japanese decided Steampunk/Victoriana was cool years before the word turned up in the West, (only judging from the first time I heard the word when a Gothic Lolita fashion nutter I know started using it to describe books we'd read when we were kids, so I don't really know what I'm talking about.. smile) so it's mainly just random influences like Zuan said..

Bumping this because I'd like some more recs and I don't want to make a repeat thread.

How about series that are very steampunk, like Miyazaki's Howl's Moving Castle, or accurately Victorian, like Emma?
