Thanks for the suggestions, I've started looking at them.

Though I am suprised that most of them are josei or shoujo, since before this I saw this situation mostly in seinen mangas (or maybe it's because I read more of them).

I remember this one also, but can't remember the title for the life of me. I do remember that later there was a flood and they all worked together to protect the field of flowers.
