Damn, you tempted me to read the reviews. I have to say for anyone willing to read through those wall-o-text positive reviews there is some 10/10 unintentional dark comedy in there.

Wow, this is distressing. Was it axed, or what? I thought sales were good, so I wouldn't assume so. Maybe it was always intended to be just a short addition... hopefully it gets a good ending.

I always thought it was a play on "man can not live on bread alone." It makes sense to me, because it plays on a lot of the themes of the series. In contrast, I don't see Mussolini's quote as making as much sense in the context of the series.
