Only 2 anime that made me interested in their manga, Full Metal Alchemist and Claymore.
I was quite surprised to find that FMA manga and anime has different storyline, though overall is in the same environment, you guys should check it out ;)

Mostly by mangaka, but when this option is out then depend on the genre
For shoujo/shounen/seinen/josei, I chose based on the popularity, because if I randomly picked any title it usually turned out to be a bad decision
For shounen-ai/yaoi, I randomly pick any title

I'm reading around 40+ ongoing manga, when I finished downloding the newest chapter for these manga, I read it immideately. There are some titles that I wait until one saga is finished before reading them....like bleach and one piece.

I track the new releases manga using my brain, which sometimes failed me
Then store new downloaded chapters in different drive and move them to my manga drive after I read them

I sort my manga in a 200Gb HD, put them in their folder alphabetically, i.e Bleach in B folder, Shaman King in S folder. Burn the complete series when they fit in a DVD and mark them as [burned] in the HD. Basically, I don't delete any of my manga, unless I need some spac...

I read almost any genre, but I have to admit that I don't particularly like seinen manga, like Berserk for example, imo though the story and art are good but they are too heavy for me
