Description
Shinta likes to play with cats even though he cannot have one for a pet because of his father's allergies. Cats also like to play with Shinta... in more ways than one... including becoming Shinta's girlfriend and generally trying to get him to reciprocate their catcalls, literally.

My first impression was "This is going to be a very fun ecchi comedy!" but as it turns out, there's no ecchi, just comedy and romance.. I would personally remove the "ecchi" from the genre tab.
I was a bit disappointing at first (mainly because I was in the mood for ecchi comedy)... currently in volume 2 they still haven't really progressed as in a relationship - from the description I was under the impression that she was to seduce him, but they are both just innocent kids, leaves me to believe they will never progress from their current standpoint.
Don't get me wrong though, this is high quality entertainment, while it does lack somewhat in the context of story development (as I've mentioned), it doesn't really need to develop. It's a cute story about a cat, who is also a girl - which is bound to be hilarious
9/10 due to lack of ecchi.
EDIT: The way the characters behave, in a sexual yet non sexual existence, is VERY similar to Nazo no Kanojo X, so, if you like/dislike that stuff, I would suggest to read/skip this comic.

To be frank, I've never really cared for the whole catgirl thing, but I can't help but love this manga. It's lighthearted and hilarious. The jokes are actually pretty well thought out, not resorting to slapstick or implausible situations. (Well, OK, the whole premise of the manga is implausible, but once you get past that it's at least self-consistent) The art is clean and attractive and works quite well for the style of the manga.
Similar to Mysterious Girlfriend

I'm enjoying the story although some of the antics are getting a little old lately.
Thanks for comparing it to Mysterious Girlfriend X, that was another great series with a similar stoic-faced, slightly eccentric, mysterious girlfriend who is loyal and slightly echi around someone who values taking a relationship slowly. Both are lighthearted, sweat, episodic and somewhat slice of life, and the flavor is such I'd recommend the other series if you enjoyed either one.
Update: 2013 and this has remained one of my favorite series.

Ok. It might not mean much considering my catgirl fetish, but I love this manga. I saw it compared with "Nazo no Kanojo X"/"Mysterious Girlfriend X", and from the general theme/feeling, that comparison is quite fitting. However, here, the girl is the more aggressive one, and the supernatural part is that she's a cat, not drool.
I'm only at chapter 5 yet, so I can't say much about story progression - but the jokes are great so far.

Well done catgirl theme.

So far there hasn't been much in terms of a story but the humor is there. Art is okay, nothing special really. If your into animal girl characters then this is a keeper.
Cute and funny, and cats, that are girls, but also cats

Nothing much to say, it's a romcom with a catgirl with an emphasis on the catgirls being being cats, it has some emotional moments but is mostly fun
Couldn't keep going...it's just that slow. The storyline is similar to that of Mysterious Girlfriend, in that it doesn't move from the first chapter. Once you've seen the start, may as well have seen the end. I honestly can't enjoy a series that bases itself solely on humor.
No storyline = no drama, no character development, doing nothing that even remotely indicates an intimate relationship, could end with the first chapter (honestly a one shot to satisfy a cat girl urge would be more satisfying than this)
