Fun and the BEST! No words to describe.

This is the funniest and best manga that I ever read. I love this mangaka. Beast master and now Dengeki Daisy. The mangaka sure knows how to write and draw great storylines and characters.

Teru, the heroine is the best one I ever seen. She cried, joked, and stayed strong at times she should. That's why no one could ever hate her.

Kurosaki is a cool, caring and funny. That makes him a great guy with multiples personality.

To sum it up, this manga is totally awesome. A MUST READ! Best, get yours hands on the manga if you can find it in any manga shop (like me.)!

Storyline - 10/10
Artwork - 10/10
Recommendation - 100000000/10 ><

Almost great

Dengeki Daisy SHOULD have been great. It's hilarious, for one thing. It's adorable, for another. The protagonist is hardly ever stupid, for a third.

Now, if only the mangaka actually knew what she was talking about when writing about computers.

Trying to make sense of Dengeki Daisy's backstory was stunningly painful. The term "codes" is thrown around everywhere and I don't even know what it's supposed to mean. Sometimes it seems to be some sort of encryption algorithm, and other times it seems to be some sort of encrypted data, and all of the time it just makes no sense. There was also a description of a legendary virus that made me want to weep.

Much the same as gratuitous English, there is much gratuitous hacking in this manga that doesn't actually make sense, but looks kinda cool. I guess that was to be expected, though.

So my advice for this manga is as follows: If you have a programming background, turn off your brain and enjoy the ride. It's a little bumpy, but really a lot of fun if you just don't research it too hard.

Dengeki has it's moments but

When I first started reading this, I was excited. It was fun, Teru is HILARIOUS, and Kurosaki is my hero. I loved their fights, the plot... but lately, it's just getting hard to read. I know he's a computer hack wizard whatever, (and sadly, I don't read japanese (trying to learn but it's going painfully slow), so maybe I'm missing out on some stuff with the translations?) but it's just getting a bit tedious. I read through a chapter now and just see, "blah blah blah" because Teru's always talking about being strong and not worrying Daisy. Daisy's always talking about her letting other's protect her... *sigh*

I'll continue reading, yes, but I need more spark! A faster way forward. Get Teru kidnapped or something! Or Daisy kidnapped and Teru has to sneak around trying to find him and find out he's not really kidnapped but passed out drunk or sick somewhere. I think that'd be funny (huhuhu)

i started reading when there was already a good chunk of story out there, so i sort of binge read it. and it was really good. i LOVE the heroine, she's a strong female lead without seeming too annoying or being unfeminine. i dont know why, but i'm not in love with kurosaki. like, i have nothing against him but nothing about his character just ever made me excited for romantic development. i guess what i do like about their relationship is that teru (f. lead) wears the pants in the relationship. like their relationship is entirely dependent on teru, who is still a teenage girl. there's none of that unrealistic 'idgaf about society and how this is kind pedo-y, KISS ME TERU.' no, it's more "she's still a teenager, she shouldn't/won't see me as a man yet so i wont do anything" which i really love.

but post-reading binge i realize the plot isnt really sticking with me anymore. the villains are pretty bland, they need a little more than just "merrrr find daisy". i was hoping the jack o frost thing would turn into something a little bigger, but so far i'm not seeing much...

overall it's a decent read with really great art, attractive characters. highly recommended.

This is one of my favorite mangas ever!!!! Kurosaki is so frickin funny, and Teru isn't one of those overly emotional idiots you usually find in shoujo. She has a brain, and she actually USES it. Kudos to the mangaka for making it realistic (not that you'll find a janitor that hot anywhere) wink totally LOVED it. i'm stalking VIZ until they finish english publication. Definitely a must read!!! smile

I can't complain anything about this manga. It has all the things you've been looking for in a story. A rare plot line and full of mysteries which readers will chase after.

I love Teru, Daisy and Kurosaki. No boring chapters.
This is what i can call, EPIC.

Super Highly Recommended.

Its a really great series, as someone who usually doesn't care for shojou series that does mean something. It gets a little tedious after a while though.
Spoiler (highlight to view)
Especially when Teru finds out that Kurosaki is daisy, in her crisis of acting like she doesn't know you're just waiting for her to tell him. Then later on he knows she found out, and when you get into situations like "she doesn't know that he knows that she knows" and "he knows that she doesn't know that he knows that she knows" you just want to punch everyone in the face. It would seem though that the situation of mutual understanding would only come at the series' end. Hopefully between now and then the story will pick up.
I think all fans eagerly await the ending because it has the potential to be epic. (If its sad, more face punching is sure to ensue.)

Fun at first but repetitively boring after 5 volumes

If you're a masochist or likes playing victim mentality (where MC is always playing the pitiful role with a sad past), then you'll like this series. If not, then don't waste your time.

That said, the manga started off great but after the third volume, you can tell that the author ran out of ideas.

Here's why:

1. The romance between the two MC develops very fast (within the first two volumes). However, it never progresses past the stage of confessing to each other. The reason? MC is too afraid to confess because of his "sad past" that will hurt her.

2. The mangaka tries to convey the idea of mistakes and forgiveness but its exection is terrible. Every villain introduced is blackmailed to betray their love ones or friends and acts like "I got blackmail so I have a valid excuse to betray you." However, they are always forgiven easily. It seems no matter what the villain do, the power of love or friendship can forgive anything.

3. The male MC is introduced as the most notorious hacker. He perform amazing hacking jobs for fun. However, when he's against a villain, he can't even hack a freaking website. What is the point of making him the notorious hackerconfused

Plot devices #1 and #2 are used repeatedly. After reading volume 1, you find similarities in volume 2. Then, volume 3...is the same. Volume 4? Same. Volume 5? Wait, this is volume 5. Have they not learn they'll get betrayed? Oh wait, it's okay because they'll just forgive them at the end. What about the romance? It's the same "My sinful past will hurt you so I can't tell you I like you. Instead, I'll continue being a tsundere forever."

Terribly executed. Too repetitive. Way too illogical.

The entire time, I feel like I was reading a wannabe bible about mistakes, sins, confession and forgiveness.

good but it was dragging too much for me

I read into the 40's kind of, then I put this series on hold. I have 5 english volumes; the beginning of the series was cute but also dramatic and romantic. Once the series got around volume 10, and there was still no kissing or anything, I didn't have a big problem, but I felt like the series was being unnecessarily dragged on. Don't get me wrong, I like it and I see the appeal, and maybe I need to go back and read it over again now that it's gone on, but it was like I personally wanted more in terms of story and romance and it wouldn't get there for me. But, maybe it's already there. I might find out eventually when I decide to pick it up again
