Starts with despair but changes to funny slice of life later on.
Nice and new twist to the isekai genre

Pretty good

The mc’s build actually makes sense in this one, like in other isekai manhwa the mc is so damn strong but looks like a twig, so it’s nice to actually see a mc with a body that makes sense lmfao. Also mc’s personality is funny as hell, the dragon dude is also pretty great and overall it’s just a fun read.

Art style is good, plot is good, characters are nice too. It’s a pretty good read in general, nothing really special about it but it’s still good nonetheless. It’s also a nice refreshing read since this time the mc doesn’t have like 5 girls in love with him lmfaoo. I do wish the mc has a love interest in the future (maybe the dragon dude lolll), but for now I like this manhwa anyway.

Art is godly, sadly the story isn't.

Started off great and like stated the art is top tier. However the plot stalls out most of the time and author takes their sweet time resolving conflicts or spends way too much on meaningless flashbacks or fights not involving the main cast.

Started interesting and refreshing then generic

I really liked the start :The MC has been isekaied ,but then he happens to have error... until there, it's pretty generic setting . But it is all mixed with comedy ,some random game logic tropes and a strong headed /crazy MC that moves towards a goal (revenge on the entity that transported him there and living his life as a human (after the begging he goes a bit crazy)).

But in the current ark 75-82+ ,it all has gone downhill too much .
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
They randomly blabber things about emotions as if they were exclusive to humans ,yet the rest of the species are acting based on those same "cringe emotions".

Edit ch145: It's now completely generic, and way too formulaic you'd expect the harsh circumstances would make the rest of Rantha stronger but no. I mean the MC is strong, but him being spared is BS.I'm glad I just skimmed the last chapters.
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
The death of the sword king makes no sense it just serves to nerf the heroes and make a convenient yet not plausible story.

Edit 163: There were already glaring errors, but the author is fatally messing up the timeline ... again ...

The story slowly devolves into a generic isekai/ fantasy with a totally passive MC unless it's necessary . When we are thinking about dropping it they usually get him acting badass, just to randomly get various chapters without him .To then have the MC return to end the battle and say some interesting stuff plot-wise to then again get some chapters of "story building" that are actually over-explaining things that are mentioned in the background of the main story in case slow readers didn't get it. And then repeat this structure in whatever ark you're in.

It was pretty decent until then but, along the way in the overexplanation, monsters each time have less sense .And there are too many holes in the argument appearing .Not only that, but, the MC has becomes irrelevant in many explanations ,but we don't get any characters filling the place .

Lastly really don`t like how they are managing the death of characters .In one scene 100+ die because of plot just to introduce some tension and after he goes out of his way to save someone unknown that casually has plot relevance whilst ignoring the suffering of anyone without plot relevance and then repeat. Edit: this keeps happening ad nausea it would be slightly interesting if the side characters got caught in it and solved it themselves /made them grow but whats bredictible is that someone of the main cast will save the day and deaths only serve to fuel a power up.

Tricked Me into Reading a Good Story

I came here for a generic OP MC in a fantasy setting. How dare the author fully develop all these characters and make the battles feel as if there are dire things at stake! Just because I was won over with hilarious potty humor doesn't mean I also signed up to cry manly tears - that's just unfair!

Got sick of the story never actually resolving plot points fully

As the title says it feels like plot points never get fully resolved and the reader is being strung along to see what new way the MC gets screwed by or 'didn't see coming'. The art is good, the story passable but if you are looking for innovative, interesting or unique in a story look elsewhere.
I am reminded of One Punch Man and why it is better over this story even though it seems repetitive or simple on the surface. Its because in One Punch Man he may be dumb or clueless but thats the plot device and comedy, there is a redeeming quality in that he is strong to the point of absurdity. It is a solid character trait that gives the mythos and awe around the character, this MC has no feeling of that which is weird considering they are supposedly a sword master or king. It comes down to lack of backbone in the character, there is nothing worse than a limp wristed indecisive MC.

Pretty nice at first, stalls somewhat in the later seasons

Pacing is a bit weird or bad. The first seasons are fun and they seem to focus on comedy and over the top action, by the third season the comedy takes a step back, but the content is still pretty good.

Season 4 was relatively weak and 5 looks to be worse, I hope there is un uptick.
Both seasons try to seriously deal with the MC's trauma, but it feels like they came out of nowhere and they first downgraded the MC from an actual adult (which was refreshing) dealing with trauma to an edgy Shounen teenager, which makes everything feel like a step backwards. Usually flawed characters are supposed to progress. Just feels poorly done.

Other characters also experience break neck speed changes in character that make you wonder what just happened, but naturally this isn't as impactful as the MC's character and story arc being derailed. Shame.

Deserves a second chance

Latna Saga has a great set up in the beginning and becomes a more generic adventure fantasy story, but I love that about it. Sure it doesn't reinvent the wheel but the story is solid the whole way through and it takes me back to reading adventure shonen stories of the past.
I think a lot of people here were expecting him to be OP and get through problems swiftly, but I like that being so overpowered and having the system is what hinders him for making any progress.
Really, the way the world is a character and Hanbin's existence in it has a cause and effect to it while not being the only moving piece of the puzzle is refreshing for a manhwa.

Story kinda bad and not a masterpiece like everyone claiming

I have read up to chapter 84 (out of 146) and our MC is super OP for sure but totally useless. He is just there as a secondary character while other characters around him move the plot. Even when season 2 implied that he is some how important to the plot and after 30 chapters into that season he didn't do anything useful. most fights are being taken care by others. its kinda annoying to be honest.
He is like Saitama from OPM where he is needed to just finish the arc. However in OPM Saitama , the plot and other characters are way more interesting interesting that here. This manga really makes me frustrated on how useless our MC is.
