The characters in this series only seem to have a single trait that defines most of their personality. Quite poorly written story and characters with a lot of exposition, poor quality discriptive writing without any substance, emotion and very little reason.

An underwhelming read that fulfills a power fantasy but the writing very much disappoints.

The upside is the art is decent and there is a bit of comedy but it doesn't make up for everything else.

I've read up to chapter 153 (125 on the official translation and the rest on the imperfect scans one). If you're going to read this, I highly recommend the official translation and am stopping reading the imperfect scans one as the quality is so low (mtl maybe?) it's difficult to enjoy it.

If you're looking for something that's going to make you feel a lot of feelings and have a really unique and innovative plot, this one isn't for you. But if you're a fan of the typical shounen dungeons and status windows, this is a fun way to pass the time. Many of the things that I find annoying about this genre are skipped over in the manhwa (for instance, I hate excessive yanderes and tsunderes--

My favorite unique aspect of this one is the self-aware jokes that some of the characters make about the genre as a whole (which come through way better in the official translation fwiw). If you, too, are tired of the typical tortured and heartless mc and ridiculous power-scaling, this might be for you. The mc is still OP, but he's really into getting stronger for the sake of getting stronger,

MC is kinda OP, stumbles on power and is obsessed with training and working hard to better himself.

I like this kind of motivated MC. Yeah, he gets very OP, but I suspect thats an early-story thing as he'll need to be strong for what's coming next (already we see big changes happening to the world, such as monsters leaving dungeons). All in all, an enjoyable read.

There's an excessive amount of exposition and, even worse, it's delivered in a boring and ineffective way. One of the key strengths of a visual medium is 'showing' exposition, not saying it. The creator's haven't seemed to grasp this yet. At times, you'll have to read through 10+ chapters of exposition before any potentially interesting development or action happens.

Another issue is how boring the characters are: they approach every situation in the same manner and are one-dimensional. It gets tiring quickly. On a good note, I did read this while trying to fall asleep and it was helpful.

Too much theory crafting and meaningless banter over mundane things, actual execution goes like "wow you're so strong!" and "just as I imagined!".

Seems like a mix of solo leveling without majority of the emotional elements and a bit of one punch man without the humility.

In short, not much excitement as the story plot is extremely predictable and monotonous.

However, art is great and it contains a bit of humour so it's still enjoyable if you skip a lot of the dialogue.
