This is my favorite series!! It's just so amazing! A lot of people LOVE the art, including me, but what really attracts me is the plot it just so...original! there's some, very little cliches, but for the most part it's original. I whole-heartedly love the series very much and the characters (Specially Zero!!).so yeah, it has a very serious plot line and it's supposed to be a sad ending, which I don't want, but the ending is far from near~~!!
yeah, Yuuki can't make up her mind, but that's only natural for her to feel so confused, at least I would be w/those 2 guys since they both treasure her and love her so much

Sometimes I'm not sure if the author or the translator messed up, the text is so hard to comprehend. I love the plot since I'm also a fan of Stephanie Meyer's vampire books (Twilight etc). It's like a vampire story for teens (meaning: no erotic vampire scenes), even though there is much blood.
For people who say it's no romance, only blood lust: ever read a vampire story that has love without blood lust? If you don't like don't read. Anyway, since chapter 36 only an idiot could say that it isn't romance.

I'll give it a 10, since it has some really great scenes.

One of the best Vampire romance story of all times. Absolutely in love with the story, Yuki got on my nerves a little bit cuz i wanted her to dump Zero and jump Kaname. Man the artwork is amazing and the story is so weird IT IS SIMPLY BEAUTIFUL!

are u kidding me, Claymore, Gantz, and Beserk all those manga u say are better than vampire knight, i hope that a jokes, cause they are not. I try gants and beserk and claymore. It isn't even all that great. And i do agree with u about the romantic, i hardly see any romantic. And it not lame, lame as u say it is. Peoples don't listen to this he/she person. It doesn't know what it doesn't about.

This manga is nothing but fan service and over hyped by crazy fan-girls. When it come to dark themed, this couldn't competes with the great ,and as much i hate to said this but, Claymore, Gantz, and Beserk . And when it come to shoujo romance, this doesnt even come near to all the great ones, infact, I dont think there is any romance at all, just some hungry vampire attracted to some girl's blood. Lame, lame,lame manga despice some really good art FOR A SHOUJO MANGA

Best art i've seen, story is excellent, author subtly shifts the story such that u won't even notice it>> best story i've seen. Characters also develop well, though i wish Hino-san would draw faster T_T BTW after book 6 the author shifts vk into high gear, prepare to be shocked many times lol. Oh yeah u'll need to reread a few times to understand the plot fully. DO NOT start randomly from say, book 2. It is imperative to start from 1 or u wont know what the heck is going on

This started off so well, a little confusing, but it was at least logical. Then I'm not really sure what happened, but everything stopped making sense. The character's motivations were all over the place, no one was consistent in anything and the entire plot disintegrated into total chaos. The ending wasn't awful, but definitely deeply unsatisfying. I really hated the female protagonists, and the fact that all these powerful vampires suddenly became completely incapable of doing anything after around chapter 50 (earlier for some). It was frustrating to read and I actually stopped and restated several times before I managed to get through it all. Points for the art and the good start, but overall a disappointment.

but there is no way I can get even close to liking this story.
The entire thing was just a mess. I don't think I've ever disliked a story so much as this.
