This manga is really great! At the end of chapter one, it confirmed you it's a tragedy manga. I thought this is quite interesting, it's not really common but the characters have a goal in mind, to enjoy life as much as they can. If you take out the tragedy theme, it would be your typical school life romance manga. Nevertheless, I would still read it because the drawing is amazingly cute. The main girl, Nino, is not the usual cry baby and Kira is quite a good guy even though he's a yankee. It's a really cute and touching story!

Nino plays the "fairy godmother" to her neighbor Kira who is also a classmate that she previously had never spoken to. Kira is the popular guy that has a secret that Nino wants to protect...so in doing so, she develops a tight friendship with him and his dependence on her is touching. Since this is listed as a tragedy, it's obvious what Kira's secret is. On the otherhand, Nino is reminding me more and more of the little mermaid as she gets closer to Kira. Since I hate unrequited love stories, I'm going to stop reading but I still recommend this to anyone who is looking for a different kind of shoujo because it's touching how Kira is vulnerable only with Nino.

I don't even know why I'm crying. Tears are welling up and nothing sad is even happening. There is something wrong with me. But seriously, this is the sweetest thing I've read in a long time. Nino is a cute little quirky girl full of pure intentions and affection (though sometimes a little too naive). While this would otherwise be a typical fluffy shoujo, the plot's much heavier concept of impending death brings more originality and depth. It's also a little less predictable in terms of romance what will come of the main characters involved because the consequences are more tragic. Despite this, it is a very optimistic and up-beat read filled with happiness. Will be thoroughly enjoying this one!

Kay, I'm not into tragedy very much to be honest, but this story is amazingly cute and unpredictable. However, I really hope there will not be a sad ending like every dramatic tragedy. I understand it would be more realistic that way, but I don't want neither of the main characters to get hurt at all since this is still a shoujo manga. Like the time I read "I give my first love to you"'s last chapter, I actually cried like crazy. Sighs. I really don't wanna read N volumes just to see a sad ending, things like that.

So cute... I don't know why I'm doing this to myself. But I can't stop now. I feel like this is going to be The Fault in Our Stars all over again.

This was a good read: neither overwhelmingly sentimental nor shallow. Although it has a rather dark and heavy story it makes its way quite lightly without making you got depressed through to the end. I like it.

This story is absolutely beautiful. I'm not fond of tragedies but I read it anyway, and was surprised by how much I enjoyed it. Do not let the Tragedy tag scare you away.

Because I like to know who dies ahead of time in a manga, I'm going to put this here.


There were several moments throughout this story that had me in tears. I was also worried about the bird making the story less serious, but that wasn't really a problem and I grew to love him.

10/10 would recommend.

This was exactly what I needed WHEN I needed. Don't let the cliche first two chapters stop you from reading this little gem; It's beautiful. It didn't drag things out when it didn't need to and it has a beautiful underlying story.

I thoroughly enjoyed what's been scanlated of Kinkyori Renai and I'm very keen on gobbling down this title, but I'm really not sure about the direction various secondary characters are about to take and how it will affect the leads' relationship. I know that's part of a good story, you learn something with every couple of chapters, but the mystery which isn't being resolved linearly (about Kira X School Nurse, and the history with his troublesome former classmate) is sort of getting on my nerves right now. Wish it would get scanlated a bit quicker! ^^

I don't know what I was expecting, but it wasn't something so good. I'm in love with the 5 chapters that are translated to english. I wish Chibi Manga to continue with this proyect. I want to keep reading and to discover more of this story! =)
