its scary, well, probably because of the guy creepiness but the idea of renting
this manga show what had become to people who desire the things that could never belong to them and once the desire turned into obsession, they tend to do the impossibles and finally, bring themselves to doom. it is nice to learn something valuable from this horror manga, even it will send some chills down to your spine.

heart to the people is quite interesting since most horror manga I encountered is about granting wishes,etc.lol, this appear in our reality too.

This was a tad creepy and probably the wrong choice for a quick before-bed read! The creepy factor stems from the way it delves into the darkness of human hearts - people get driven to desperation when they desire something that they cannot get, and this "rental" service allows them a temporary way to achieve what they want. Seeing the way Rinko's mind came unhinged as she became addicted to using any means to keep her hold on what she couldn't have was... not pretty. An interesting oneshot, but it's not one that I'd keep or remember.
Just read this just then, and I have a similar reaction to many others. But I commented to voice this one question (that the readers can answer?):

If a person can be rented, then does that mean that the popular kid (MC's love interest) had also rented in the past as well, and thus he was rentable?
