I like Keiko Kinoshita since I find her books to be at least solid but this one might be my least favorite one by her. It went by fast and it felt a bit underdeveloped. I mean, at first the kid was in love with someone else then all of the sudden he switched his attention to one of his friends. Also, I wish she would have shown us a bit more about the other couple (maybe they have their own book?) because I found their relationship to be more interesting, which is weird since I usually love friends turned lovers trope.

I would have liked it better if Hosokawa and Takagi were the intended couple, and judging by the little fan service at the end I'm not the only one.
