It's pretty good. The girl started out as one I really liked. I still like her, but sometimes she's just really digging her own grave. Other than that, I really like this story. I've been avoiding this story for so long for some odd reason, and when I finally downloaded it out of boredom, I was happy I did. ^^

The arts doesn't appeal to me until i actually open the book and read them. Not much of a thing at first and i thought it would be horror thanks to the title o_O. But it is an amazingly sweet story and very erm.. life-style. love it

This manga was amazing! It was so REAL! I loved it. Definately a must read!

I mostly prefer reading seinen, but occasionally I'll pick up a josei manga. In this case, I'm really glad I gave Mars a try. It's got such a light touch, and surprising depth... It really is a fantastic romance, and I do mean a REAL romance, deep and thoughtful and moving, not just a childish crush sort of scenario. (I feel almost embarrassed saying all this, because usually I'm about the blood and the gore and the psychological perversity -- but in this case the beauty of the manga just drew me in.)

My other favorite by Souryo Fuyumi is Eternal Sabbath, which is seinen... I honestly didn't know until now that Souryo sensei had such a different style when it came to shoujo/josei. The art in Mars is really, really different than her art in her later works. It isn't as delicate or as sophisticated, but still a damn sight more polished and expressive than most of the art out there.

Don't miss out on this manga. It's really beautiful.

I really loved it! I thought it touched on important and real themes...

if it's already made a live action it must be good, and it is ;]

i really couldn't identify or bond with any of the characters and the story didn't pull me in at all. im sorry i thought it was horrible. but don't take me too seriously, i hardly like any shoujo manga.

Unlike most manga or manhwa, long series start having fillers. This isn't that long, but the various plot devices are foreshadowed and everything feels like it fits in so you don't think, they threw that in just to get a longer story. Plus, you want to cheer on the main characters and hope they do well. It's well done, although its over 10 years old, the art, story and characters hold up nicely.

This was the first manga i ever read and it is still my favorate. I love this manga sooo much. The story was just good, i wish that they made a drama for it in Japan i know there is one in Taiwan but i can't understand Cantonies. I wish i could learn... but oh well. 2 languages is enough for my brain... but ANYWAYS, Mars is such a good manga with a good story great charicters and a sensational love story. awww.... Kira and Rei are sooo great together, i wish Mars never ended. ;(

This was such a deep manga... it was such a lovely story... about Rei's life and Rei + Kira's love... all in all, it was so touching... by far, the best manga i've read in a LONG time...
