The story was fun and funny and the characters had some depth to them and most of them developed as the story progressed.

The overall story and pacing was great until maybe the last 5 volumes and everything just felt rushed and underwhelming. Apparently, some important scenes in the LN were not put into the manga and it followed the same inconclusive ambiguous ending.

It could have been great if they just developed the last volumes better, but the ending felt like a miss similar to what Prison School had done.

It starts off meh, but at chap 26, when the characters start to have feelings for eachother, the romantic plot really takes off. Excellent read, but only if you are willing to bear the shitty first few chapters.

You lacked.And yeah... It really happens in real life... (what we sometimes see in mangas) other students bully you if you are a loner and nervous to be friends with others... And also same in other mangas... If you are charismatic enough you'll have a lot of friends...
From my perpective we should have empathy for other countries social issues ... And i think we think too narrow that we see everything from what we believe or told... Here in North america/canada we are taught in a completely different way about how to treat/response asians' way of life.
Well i digress. But i like the art on this manga thou i havent read it yet.... Cause i have been captivated to those previous comments... But i'll edit my comment as soon as a read this (^_^)

Some people may hate Yozora, but to me she is one of the coolest females in manga. She doesn't just shut up and blush at every little thing, and she is verbally abusive and sadistic rather than physically violent and willing to anything for friends. It may not make a lot of sense but i find her attitude unique and interesting.

Just kidding, well maybe. It's hilarious, and the romance is just right. I highly recommend! The characters are all entertaining. Each one has something fascinating about them. I also praise the art style and character expression. Yozora is the most verbally fantastic character in fiction, imo. I'll be buried with this manga.

I really did. I can't like Yozora. I don't have a problem with flawed characters or "tsundere" types in general but she's just too much. The "Connect" chapter was the final straw. It was supposed to show some events from her perspective and to my shock it made me dislike her even more.

If you can read the first volume or so and still like Yozora then go ahead and read the rest. Else, go find something else to read. There's plenty of harem type manga available.

So what do a bunch of attractive high school loners do when school has failed to provide them with friends? Why, take matters into their own hand and start a club. Of course! Why didn't I think of that?

It's like I'm reading something I've watched before.

EDIT: Perhaps I make it sound like I dislike this; but I assure you that's not the case. Like with most other manga, this one has stringent bits of unoriginality and far-fetchedness; but they don't really flake away the comedy. It's at least 10x more amusing than most other school-based comedies. And in this decade, that's an awfully long list.

=.= Yozora is definitely not like Haruhi....(from Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya?) Yozora may be eccentric, but nowhere as much as Haruhi. Don't read the manga of Haruhi Suzumiya, it's nothing like the light novels or the anime, if this is where you are getting your info. And Boku wa Tomodachi is not "copying" from other mangas. It's just coincidences/cliches, since if that's your opinion of copying, then there are alot of mangas that copied each other.

Anyways, Boku wa Tomodachi is a very nice comedic manga! I recommend it to everyone who likes to laugh!

OH! That's what you meant by that creating-wierd-club(but a lot of animes do have them making "weird" clubs), but i haven't read any of the other mangas you mentioned(cept Angel Densetsu), so I'm sorry that I do not know who else you are talking about. =.=

I am not going to praise this and there aren't any spoilers.

The premise sounded really interesting but the Manga is shallow as anything can be. The characters are cliche and have no depth. One learns to hate all characters apart from Yukimura, which I am indifferent to, Maria and Kobota which are likable.

Yozora, the female "lead" is a sadist bitch with cruel tendency to humiliate and insult the others. Yet the author expects us to feel sorry for her when she is down.

Sena is made for adolescent boys. We are meant to believe this walking breasts is at the top of her class but somehow is a complete doormat for Yozora.

Rika is a freak.

I didn't find it funny just crude. If you are after ecchi then there are better Manga's to read, if comedy then this is pretty low. My mistake for starting this, I am not a fan of harem and should have realised what a p(b)ile of crap this would be. Don't let the premise fool you, its nothing to do with making friends,
