Beautiful, this happens to be one of my all time favorite yaoi manwa because...The artwork, It melds and blurs the line between feminine beauty and male beauty quite well. Most certainly; upon my first initial read, I would occasionally mistaken the characters for one another; as they all have very similar features, but this can be a forgiving flaw when the art is so intricately breathtaking in detail, the clothing of the characters in particular, and the plot isn't so bad either...The ending felt a bit rushed, leaving the story lines of the other characters just a tiny bit under developed with abrupt endings (like the main character's brothers) A fact that the author herself makes fun of in one of the last panels. At least overall said endings weren't silly cliched up deux ex machina like (least in my opinion) I also found myself being more drawn to the secondary couple's story to be honest (The story of the prince and Shahi). It's a beautifully drawn manga with a soft, comedic, fairy tale like feel; an entertaining read at best, a bit confusing at worst, but an enjoyable read nonetheless.

I'm really interested in the plot but the characters looks the same. After volume 2, i lost interest because i can't tell whose who and it's really confusing!! It would be awesome if someone can remake this LOL Maybe ill finish this book someday but i don't feel like stressing my eyes differentiating characters.

Interesting premise kept me reading. Unfortunately I can't bear the art. By the time I started reading the third volume, it became too difficult for me to differentiate the characters. It's not just the faces and hair styles that make everything so confusing, but the fact that everyone looks like a girl! Even the guys! I give up on this series. The plot, while solid, was not good enough to convince me to keep reading.

in volume 9 can anyone explain to me?

i like certain parts but not certain parts but overall it was nice....but i was really sad that shahi didn't end up with the girl at first but when i read further on i wanted him to end up with the crown prince

this was AWESOME...i read it all in one night...i could not stop reading. only flaw was that i too felt the ending was a bit rushed, but still recommended. cute and bittersweet, i really loved this story.

Don't get me wrong, the art was beautiful. If manga were a beauty contest, this series would be a top contender. BUT, beauty alone dose not a good artist make. The mark of a great manga artist isn't how beautiful they can make the series, but how well they can use there art to communicate the story they are trying to tell. In that respect this manga is lacking. I found it difficult to differentiate between characters and to tell there facial expressions. The plot is a complicated one, and being unable to use the art a tool to understand who's talking can be frustrating.
The difference between a good manga-ka and a great one is the ability to use ugly, average and beautiful characters to make a story interesting and real. This manga-ka needs to put more variety in her art.

I liked that it wasn't only about boy love, it had real (fantasy) world problems that make it into a kind of soap opera. It was a very nice change of pace from the average in school yaoi plot.

This series also surprised me by actually having good points about gender roles. Half way through some of the characters acted in ways that made you question the way gender works, is perceived, and its role in helping/preventing personal happiness. To go too far into it would be full of spoilers, but its worth reading for that reason. This is the first shonen-ai story that I have ever encountered that had something poignant to say about anything.

It was okay, I feel this way mostly because I am not at ALL a fan of shounen ai or anything to do with boys love, so yeah I'm surprised I actually finished reading this. To me it would have been better if it wasn't shounen ai no offense that's just me......

It was adorable at parts, though it was also very sad as well. { spoiler start} it never said what happened to Elena though. And i wish that there would have been more about Shahi, in the end, he was my fav character >< hehe {spoiler end ^^}

Very cute and nice story. The art is really amazing at times.
There weren't any characters who looked alike as other commenters claimed, if they were, they were not a part of the story, only memmories.
The ending was just too sweet.. Like even more than in the movie "the importance of being Ernest".. really nice still..
Can't give it a perfect 10.. because of the flwas..
