Princess Elizabeth discovers the truth - the Sins were framed by the king's guard, the Holy Knights - too late to prevent them from assassinating her father and seizing the throne! Now the princess is on the run, seeking the Sins to help her reclaim the kingdom. But the first Sin she meets, Meliodas, is a little innkeeper with a talking pig. He doesn't even have a real sword. If you're into shounen this is a "must read" manga, definitely went over my initial expectations.
Lol @ the guy comparing this to Ubel Blatt. Ubel Blatt dark, mature, and not ecchi like this manga? Haha what series are you reading. Ubel Blatt easily has just as much if not more fanservice and its recent arcs have been pretty boring. If Seven Deadly Sins is a watered down version of Ubel Blatt, then what the hell is Ubel Blatt compared to Berserk or Bastard?
Drinking champagne and complaining it's not Guinness essentially. Seven Deadly Sins is loads of fun, hitting on all the tropes of these types of series but also adding its own whacky and over-the-top spin. There's tons of promise for this comic and Suzuki Nakaba proves he can contend with all the other up and coming series.

if you are reading this simply because of the ubel blatt similarities don't. the plot is very similar, but the focus of this manga is entirely different. if you go in expecting it to be like ubel blatt you will hate it, and that's saddening because for what it is supposed to be(comedy) it's a great read so far. it's got an interesting enough story, good char backgrounds, and a lot of laughs.... which is all it really needs

the art of this series really reminds of the days when i used to read asterix and obelix as a kid. The story sounds good but the mc acts a little weird all the time. the timing of the ecchi moments is kinda weird too. but i like it and i think the you should give it a try.
This is genuinely one of the craziest, action filled shounen manga I've read in recent times. The artwork is top-notch, the character designs are great, and the story is pretty intriguing so far. The battles are on the level of DBZ, with all the characters containing explosive power way beyond the standard manga hero, and for people into that this is definitely a manga I recommend picking up. I expect this to go places.
I'm personally a fan of the art style, captures your eyes, has a nice feel, and really gives you an urge to explore the surroundings(even if that's impossible). Has a decent start but we won't know how it fares till more chapters comes out.
Like all Suzuki Nakaba's works, there are grand characters that overflow with "power". It's WAY to early to tell if the plot will become complex, as it is in an introduction step...but if you like his previous works, then you will definitely enjoy looking at cool characters that are able to do what we all would like to.
