Good start, but...

I dont know if everyone know this...
But a manga is tagged with shounen/seinen based where it runs.
If it run in "Shounen Jump" is shounen...If it runs on "Young Jump" its a seinen...
ps. same works for shoujo/shounen.

But this manga really is a seinen, and like lilbro said, he is not immature...he's way too much mature,he overthink things, that are not like he thinks it is. About the characters, i dont think they are that anoying (pretty much the usual for me), because really there aren't that much differences in shounen and seinen romances. The main difference is that seinen talk about sex, and with a serious point of view, using it like a tool to turnover's on the manga plot, making it more real.

And the bad thing is, that this manga have seriously becoming too much of a drama, and it has not much content to work it in so much chapters in a row, making it low paced, and eventually, boring, like i am now in the end of chapter 31. I really don't have that - Waaaah...I need to know what's coming next - thing, for me its quite an dissapointment, cause i really had god hopes for this manga.
For me it in average, and i'm almost dropping it...

I was compelled to write a review for this. I am amazed by how interesting the manga is even with some of the ecchi (and I hate ecchi). There is some sex but its been drawn very tastefully and does not disgust met at all. The characters and story is not one to be missed at all!

I usually don't get offended by works of fiction, but this manga was a rare exception. I've never seen such a**h***s tagged main characters. I cannot fathom how the protagonist can deal with their insincerity and their sheer lack of respect. He should be deemed a saint or a naive moron for being able to forgive the his friend and the female lead. I agree with yuno19, although it is tagged seinen it fits a shounen demographic more. This story is too lacking in emotional intelligence to be considered seinen.

I have to disagree with yuno19's review. This is pretty far from shounen. He seems to have a skewed idea of what shounen is.

The characters problem is that he is too mature and inexperienced, not immature. This is fairly good for what it is. Their are some female mangaeqsue moments as this is written by a woman(parts where actions and statements seem almost psychicly driven) but it pretty entertaining for the most part. Though, it starts to stagnate real quick.

that kind of romance

do not deceived by seinen (demography) tag. judging by the depth of the story, I considered this manga as another boring shounen story. both protagonist is still immature emotionally, resulting awkward, know-nothing-yet, approaches to each other.

but, i could be wrong, it still haven't finished its 2nd volume yet (@ nov 3rd). all i can say is, this manga tagged seinen partly (if not mostly) because the partial nudity it contain. there are sex scenes, but just as eye candy (which not an eye candy for me). people who seek depth of seinen romance, could skip this title. but people who seek light reading reminding of shounen romance drama with few eye candies, well, this is it.

here's an update @ dec 26th;
at the fourth volume (or third? i read three volumes at once today), ruka's old object of affection is being introduced. and a volume later, granpa's old love also being introduced. those two character are so likeable: they have depth! i'm still true with my previous commentary though, the two protagonist are still annoyingly assuming as ever.

to wrap things up, by the middle of the fifth volume, because of two new characters' act, this manga's worth raised to 'acceptable' smile
