I liked the story, the theme is taboo, but the way the story developes showing the choices they make, and their struggle in their search for each other happiness is what got me.

I would not recommend this manga if you do not have an open mind. but the problem (incest) for the protagonists could have been disease, already married, prejudice, etc.

I Couldn't Help But Love It...

Personally, I loved this manga. I don't really support incest in real life. It's kind of sick and wrong. But for some reason, I couldn't help rooting for Koshiro and his sister. They're both tormented by the fact that they know it's wrong, but they have a hard time fighting away their feelings for eachother. After reading the end of this manga, I couldn't help feeling content. Even if incest revolts you I'm sure there is the possibility of enjoying the manga. You're not a sick freak for reading this manga! Don't be afraid to give it a read.

hmm...I was unsure whether I shuld read it or not...finally after watching the anime I decided to read it...well..the story was pretty good...and I really wouldn't have had any problem with the brother-sister relationship if they weren't blood related, since they just met ..apart from the time they were small and couldnt remember it anyway...
but since they are blood related I have differences about it....well it's a little gross but i guess if they wont have any children i'ts ok...

overall it's a good manga...good story..it presents a really good moral and emotional cnflict...I'll recommend it for pepole with an open mind :)

[edit by mod,possible spoiler]

first before you freaked out because the main story is about relationship of love between siblings, I'll tell you at first I was kinda unsure to read or not, but now Im glad I read it afterall, it's a worderfull story, heart breaking, and somehow refreshing. I think the main problem here is that his sister love him too much, otherwise he could just walk away and forget about his own feeling. The main problem here is that his sister love him too much, otherwise he could just walk away and forget about his own feeling like he did once with his ex-girlfriend. Koshiro's decision at near the end of story make me rate it 9/10 (I never gave 10/10).

Heck probably I would commit suicide if I had to be in his position.
Honestly I was rooting for Koshiro and Nanoka not because incest thing.

somehow Im glad there's no ecchi scene involved, I realized how the author want to display us the other side from incest in very well manner, which we usually think it's gross, weird and so on.

my conclusion, never underestimated LOVE.

As I, personally, have no problem with any relationship that is entered into willingly by both parties, without coercion, with both parties fully accepting any possible repercussions, the incest factor of this manga never really weirded me out as I know it has many other readers.

I would recommend this manga for anyone - I think /especially/ people that would, under normal circumstances, never read something with this sort of subject matter. After all, what are we here for if not to expand the minds of our lowly and unsuspecting friends and family?

This is an incredible manga dealing with human relationships. The talent displayed by the mangaka is amazing. But why must that talent be used for evil? Why make it about a brother and his sister? I absolutely hate this manga for making me love it enough to keep reading.

Even so... I wouldn't recommend Koi Kaze to anyone.

Note: I'm not sick to my stomach when I read and watched some of it but it does make you feel a little weird and you'll be rooting for Koshiro to pick any other girl but his sister.

And there it is... you'll be rooting for anyone but his sister. You know what? That someone else probably won't win his heart.

Koshiro is annoying, too, the way he is. Masturbating to his sister, yelling at her for throwing away his garbage (with the semen tissue still in there), etc.

In all seriousness... his ex-girlfriend is HOT and seems to be a kind person and his co-worker is both seem so much better...

Wow, this manga is VERY GOOD. I dont accept relatioship between sibling not bcoz of society norms but bcoz genetically, their offspring will have higher chance of genetic flaws (So genetically, I accept cousin, step brother-sister, step father-daughter & step mother-son who r not blood related 2 have relationship.) [man, m i gross or what???]

After reading only 3 volume, I actually emphatised both Koshiro & his sister. I m actually hoping that they can get together. ( m i nuts? )

Art: not my fav, no echiness but story alone makes me rate this a 10.

For both guys & gals. Plz give it a try.
