The first story was bittersweet, second sad, third made me mad about the bullying, and the last one made me cry. If you like emotional stories, then I recommend reading this manga.
First story was ruined by the ending.

People call it realistic, but that's not always a good thing. I call it predictable.
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
When it shows that she has a boyfriend, it became predictable. That she would stay with her boyfriend. What would have been way more interesting is that she realized she did love the main guy who was always catering to her. It made me not like her in the end because she didn't seem to realize or care how much he was sacrificing for her.

Seriously, this guy isn't so much selfless, as he is a fan of compersion. His netorare fetish is borderline clinical. He should probably off himself, since that's the only way his entire pathetic existence could have meaning at this point.

because this story will certainly make you cry, unless you are not the crying type.
Friendship was the core of this story. It is just another form of love after all. The ending warmed me up to the core. I salute Toogo for his selflessness and hope I have the courage to do what he did someday.

A lot of shoujo manga have me aghast at the out-of-this-world, completely not believable love stories. But this mangaka makes me think, "oh, this... this is what love must really be like." It's stories like these that keep me coming back to shoujo.

When I read this author's works, I end up crying. Something about them is just so saddening, in a good way. It's like dark chocolate. Sweet to eat, but bitter afterwards. Somehow, even though it makes my heart break a little, I still feel happy for them.
The author is a master. Not many Manga-ka can master such a wonderful play of emotions. Nothing about her works are cliche.
I wonder... She must of felt a great sadness and lost someone very important to her. Many of her stories touch upon the death of a person's most beloved and wanting to see them once again. I can feel her heartache. It sounds weird, but its true, or at least it is in my heart.
If anyone is looking for another good one of hers, I suggest you check out Hajimari No Niina

I am not easily touched AT ALL. To the extent that I thought that there is something wrong with me, but the bittersweet bittersweet in every facet of the word, got my tears streaming. Seriously sweetest thing I have ever read.

I usually don't like oneshots, because characters cannot develop sufficiently. However, the protagonist here in a way makes an incredible journey even though he was asleep for so long. There is a sense of reality and authenticity not often found in shoujo. I am left thinking, which is a good feeling. All in all, I highly recommend!
Bittersweet love.

This is one of the most selfless character I've read in awhile. The ending surprised me and I felt a few tears come down. This manga is a MUST-READ. Very beautiful and teaches a moral or two.
