This is definitely almost a copy of To-Love-Ru, except it takes one step forward and in a different direction. Instead of being engaged, Ousuke the hero is forcibly married to a kitsune named Kyoka and if he upsets Kyoka, like trying to break off the marriage, he will incur the wrath of other legendary kitsunes and have himself and his generation for 1000 years suffer bad luck and tragedy instead of in To-Love-Ru having the earth destroyed. Ousuke is very close to Rito in how they both get bad luck and end up being caught up in the heroine's pranks. Kyoka is very much like Lala with being very outgoing, popular, beautiful, and dense to understanding situations that are currently going on but is also very mischievous. They both tho sincerely love their guy of choice and show great devotion and consideration for them.
I am looking forward to the new chapters to come and to see how the author takes this topic. I sense much promise and the start is very good.

I've noticed of my own habitual reading styles that whenever I am presented with a new manga, manhou, ect. I tend to over-look romantic comedies unless there are several other elements. To be completely honest I almost skipped over this one as well. The only thing that got me to read this was the summary that I had read. I'm very glad to have read only the first chapter. It left me craving more, though it's my opinion that this seems like an excellent read I may later change my opinion. My thoughts and feelings are almost always subject to change.
Awesome and Fresh...

Normally, I hate reading love comedies, since they're typically the same, only with various alterations done. Example, some mega uber loser guy (with thick glasses to boot) is down on his luck, and has nothing left when some super smexy babe lands down to his place to serve him and do everything he wishes for.
And then later on, due to love coms evolving to harems lately, other girls join the Original Girl #1 to serve Loser-sama, have one big orgy and live happily ever after.
It's refreshing to see a new manga that takes down the same path but not with so many tiring (and equally unbelievable) cliches as well.
Kitsune no Yomeiri has its protagonist Ousuke, your seemingly-average guy but with a different outlook on life. He's so used to bad luck happening to him that in fact, he's already positive about negative things about to happen. His only wish is for a peaceful, normal life without having fame, glory, money heaped upon him.
I admit, Kyoka seems to be the typical angelic babe intent on serving her master...er, husband, but the thing about Kitsune no Yomeiri is that unlike some loser fanboys, Ousuke isn't thrilled about peeping on her or being a perv, in fact, he views her as the catalyst for more bad luck to come. He acts like a normal guy and even gets irritated at her for her tendency to play pranks (she's a fox, remember?).
Based on just the first chapter alone, the manga has a good amount of humor and comedy, and hopefully this keeps up later on. I'd like to see more character development as well and the romance between Ousuke and Kyoka (which is still non-existent as of yet, and mainly one-sided).
Unlike other love coms, this is one manga where you'd get more excited of the romantic development between the two main characters, instead of wishing for their demise.
