Murakami and Nakabayashi are just policemen trying to do their jobs. When there is a bomb explosion inside Shuei Primary School, they are asked to do their jobs as policemen and check out the lead. It turns out a doctor from a mental institution called in to warn about the explosion immediately before the bomb went off. And so begins their association with the nameless mental patient whom they would eventually call "Maki."

I was hoping for a bit more trickiness to the cases but I think even though it's based around a mystery theme, it's more about the romance and the characters than anything else. The two main characters are both quite likable, and I found it easy to care about them even in such a short series. There are sad parts but the ending is really good, ending on a happy note. Most mangas have horrible endings, so it's a nice change of pace.
It's different, not something you'd expect. The romance part of it is like Ouran Host Club with a blunt, clueless girl and an overprotective guy. Overall, I found it quite humorous with a sweet ending.
This series could have gone many places, too bad it was too short for the characters to fully grow on you. But in exchange, you get a nice and heartfelt ending.

The ending was like.. Huh? Because they were talking about the doppelganger or whatever the word is and about that guy who tore his heart out and his copy. Then all of a sudden, the marriage proposal and thats it? Huh? o_O The series is truely confusing. T_T

I really love the artwork and charcter design; all the characters are done nicely especially the girls. The story starts nice but its not something you should be reading for a hardcore complex storyline. More of an easy short story with nice art and a mediocre storyline.
Starts out nicely but the ending is rather bland. Its shortness is actually a positive aspect.

kinda funny with cute and good drawn girls.
It had a promising start, but the rest of the series just blew me (not away).
