Description
During a flashback, an interviewer inquires Kuzumi Taiga, a prospective student for Seinagi Private High School, on what he would do if he could use magic, during his entrance interview. He replies, "take over the world", with an outburst of laughter, from an attractive girl, following his answer.
After the entrance exam, the school rejects his application; although he recalls almost nothing after this event, he does recall the girl, and believes the cause of his school of choice rejecting his application involves her.

i still wonder why it was canceled. This manga was brilliant and this is how harry potter should have been like. Very well structured and a lot of humor and though the ending was predictable i still wanted to be told what could have happened. Brilliant Art. I think it should be returned and finished off properly. ignoring the ending, This manga was brilliant throughout which makes up for the rushed ending. i highly recommend it.
First of all, don't complain about the crappy ending. the series was cancelled... of course the ending's gonna be rushed.
needless to say though... eh... this is not exactly a page-turner for me. maybe it'll get better as I read more.

Liked everything except the ending.
Great plot. Too bad it ended way too soon.

This was a great manga. But she was not popular in Japan and WSJ has canseled Mx0. WSJ have bigest money incom in manga industry so they publish only most popular mangas. Steel i love Mx0 and i will miss hear !
Not theory. Its fact that there couldve damn well been a long long long way untill the story wouldve ended properly. Its just that dominating Trio = Naruto/Bleach/One Piece run over all other mangas. These cancellings happen time to time due reasons like other mangas eating others popularity.

In theory, MxO could have gone on until Kuzumi graduated. However, the series was canceled and the mangaka had to make do with the short amount of time he had. The concept is interesting: mundane kid stuck in magical school who by some accident has been confused to be a psychotically powerful mage. So to survive in a situation where he is way over his head, Kuzumi needs to rely on his own physical strength and smarts to play off being so strong he doesn't need magic.
The characters are all well-developed, each getting their own share of the limelight in the brief 99 chapters. This along with Bremen ran too short, and could have gone a bit longer without being run into the ground like Bleach or Naruto.

I keep reading that people are dissapointed because the mangaka cut it short and rushed his ending..Mx0 was cancelled, I think the mangaka had something like a month to tie off the story
I liked this manga, but as all the other fellow manga readers state, the ending was rushed.
But the story is nice. It would have been prefered if they expanded me.

Well, it was a long haul, felt somewhat odd at times, and an abrupt ending. But despite all the claims of the ending being horrible, I actually liked it. But I would have liked to see a bit more of it. Like, a couple of volumes 
But I doubt that will ever happen, but I'll keep hoping on it ^^
But the ending really deserves to be alot longer.
Despite alot of oddities at time to time and oddly handled events, it's enjoyable. Doubt I'll re-read it soon though, but just might do in the future. And by the way, I kinda liked the "other" beginning more than the real one. The wrong one was the one that got me hooked on the series in the first place ^^
Happened to open this one up again, and without really planning it I got caught and couldn't stop reading. I like it even more now ^^
