This story doesn't really have too much depth, and the deeper plot does take a bit too long to develop. Nonetheless, this series is mindless fun and pretty addictive if you enjoy overpowered main characters like Saitama from One Punch Man or Mob from Mob Psycho 100.

* Basically our wimpy frail looking loser main character gets a deus ex-machina & becomes 6’3” Supermodel after a chapter.

* MC has the single biggest plot Armour that would make all other shounen protagonists jealous.

* It’s a dungeon anime, MC gets nearly killed by the very first monster in the beginning of dungeon but somehow he sweeps the entire dungeon killing hundreds/thousands of similar monsters without a scratch & beats the boss who’s way op, again and again.

* Only our MC can get stronger other characters stay the same.

* Other characters serve only one purpose: underestimate our MC & get their lives saved by our MC in a dungeon and their they start worshipping our great MC.

* MC’s character is bland as a cardboard, looks like a cheap sasuke knockoff, other characters are even blander, first they all act as jerks, then end up worshipping MC.

The best, it makes your heart race

Honestly, everyone is talking about this manwha cause it's great... and IT IS! The story is nice though a bit quick to make the protagonist OP so quickly, but at least he isn't annoying or stupid, his personality is actually very likeable and damn he gets cool. The art is amazing, its not one of those half way through manwha and then change into a s**t generic art style you see in Legendary Moonlight Sculptor and Dimensional Mercenary (oh god, why did they change the artist and destroy the manwha (´；д；`) ), the art is so good I have Cha Hae-In as my background.
Personally 10/10 for story and art. But now season 1 is finished and Webnovel licensed it, read the novel! (People say Webnovel is bad but I don't have any experience using it).

When I first read solo leveling, I binged all 50 or 60 something chapters, and yea I admit it was exciting to see the weakest person turn into an OP monster. But...that's it. None of the characters have depth, the story isn't unique or special, and this trope has been played many times already. A fantasy game-like setting with the weakest person becoming OP. It's not a story I would remember or care about once it's over. Overall, it's a good manhwa or webtoon whatever you want to call it for momentary excitement while you are reading it. But, in the end, there's nothing compelling about the story or the characters. I'm always surprised by the sheer amount of people treating this as if some sort of masterpiece when clearly it's not. Also, the art is nice, and it has a sharp edge to it, and it reminds me of Noblesse.

There's no words to describe it, it's just so simple and ambitious that it's good. Pretty self contained too, they didn't push it with over the top elements and all that, this felt like a mixture of SAO with HxH. The art is gorgeous too. Just hope this gets a anime adaptation like Tower of God got.
The second season of this will be released, I have higher expectations but usually webtoons on the later seasons start to get worse, hope that doesn't happen to Solo Leveling.

At the beginning is weird, but is a good webtoons, read it in one day and I think it’s worth it. But not all mangas are for everyone so just give it a try!

It's really good .. at first glance I didn't like it, surprisingly from the chap 4 to 10, I couldn't stop reading it the whole night... Now I'm waiting for the update like a little kid waiting for his new toy ..

The story move fairly slow but keeps your attention, i very much like this manga. The manga is great at the beginning and middle when the character is growing and showing improvement but then towards the later chapters he is so powerful that no human or army could opposite him and the author has to implement a sort of "Faith or humanity and the universe" story line in order to introduce more powerful foes which just ruins the feel good getting more powerful story, it turns in to a manga where the main character is humanities only hope and that's kind of boring. At the start you could empathize with the character, he has a personality and was likable but now in the later chapters he's a cold cool lump standard character who has no problems that he can't solve while having a bored cold look on his face... as the manga kept going the main character turned from being a character we can relate and empathize with in to someone we can't, this is usually the problem with weak to strong manga where the personality has to change with the characters strength. However Murim Login handles this issue so much better where the characters personality dosnt change but he acknowledges he's more powerful. It's a shame but I stopped reading at chapter 167 and hasn't felt the need to pick it back up again. I just wish Murim Login released chapters faster...

I’m honestly stumped that there are so many people that trash on the manga/comic saying that the story is bad when they don’t even know the half of it. Seriously one guy said that the mc is stupid, that intelligence isn’t one of his strong suits and that it’s just another regular MC gets strong quick bs. Like seriously? Have you read the novel itself? Do you know the full story of the comic from the 50ish chapters you’ve read? Do you even know it had a novel beforehand? Please at least check if you’r going to thrash it
