Tsukushi Makino is accepted into the prestigious, Eitoku Academy. Life changes dramatically for Tsukushi when her friend falls on Tsukasa Domyoji. Tsukasa is the explosive leader of the "F4," a group of the most powerful, rich and handsome boys. Domyoji refuses to accept Makiko's apology and Tsukushi steps in to protect her friend. A red tag appears in the Tsukushi's locker the next morning which is a sign from the F4 that she is to be bullied by the school. Tskushi continues to stand up to her oppressors.

I loved this manga. The characters develop more and more as the story goes on. Usually I stay away from Shoujo because of the drama, but the misunderstandings in this one are (mostly) believable. Doumyouji is the most interesting character by far in my opinion. Afraid he's going to be comedy relief? Read on.

Definate 10.I loved the story but was a little disappointed at the ending of the series, until a friend told me about the one shot that takes place 1 yr later, i think that gives it the best ending and now i have nothing bad to say about the manga. In regards to the J-Drama and the anime. I believe that for the most part they just can't compete with the original manga so i probably won't finish watching them.

i laughed so hard in the book store while reading that an old man smiled and said "it's so good to see young people enjoying reading" i love this series they need a second season for the anime and the live version has cute people but leaves out a lot of the story!
ahh...i just finished watching the drama series of this..and now im sad that its over :'( i dont really want to read the manga cus the art isnt very good..but o well xD

i jusrt loved this manga though aftr i finished i wanted more like in the future.... Tsukushi and Tsukasa married and have a kis or 2 a boy and girl lolzz i soo wanted that liek how it was in Kare Kano but i guess that cant happen in every manga but still this one was tooo goood so i really wated that much..
but the manga is a lot bettr then the anime i mean Rui was awsoem in the manga unlike in the anime he was soo cute and funny and many other studd that happend i love this manga it awsomeeeeeeeeee!

This is probably the one of the BEST Shoujo manga I have ever read. I am actually content with the ending and the oneshot too. It's obvious they will have a happy ending. I recommend this to every Shoujo lover out there. Its a story that one should not miss.
Ok, well, I have not finished this series, but i am getting close to the end. Really its a good series, and the artwork gets better as it continues and so does the character development and plot, even if it is slow as my dead grandma. (no offense). but as much as I am liking this series, I wish there weren't so many twists and turns and just get to the happy ending. really, all this stress will make me break out.
I reccommend it though to anyone who likes romance/drawn-out drama/rich boy, poor girl love story.

That ending was wonderful... So great. I loved it.
It was much better than any corny, predictable, boring finale...
I can't believe I put off reading this manga because some reviewers said the ending was disappointing. Just goes to show you really have to experience things for yourself and not just listen to the opinions of others. hehe
I was COMPLETELY satisfied with how it ended. There was no cliff hanger. A cliff hanger is when everything hangs in the balance and you have no idea what the outcome will be...
But god, how much clearer can it get? Of course they're only high school graduates so there can't be a wedding and babies...pff...but it is so obvious that they have a happy ending. All the obstacles between them were cleared (especially the thing with his mum).The future holds endless possiblities for them... Now that their romance have no more obstacles, they'll take the time to grow and become better people before fulfilling their promise to each other. It was beautifully done. Kudos to the author.
But hey, if you're one of those people who needs everything spelled out... right down to the definitive happily-ever-after.... in order to be satisfied, then you might be a little disappointed, I guess. Go read a fairy tale for that...

in this story their is a lot of charater devopment look at the two main charater Tsukasa or Tsukushi and rui who quite never smile changes and start to smile, even Tsukasa mother have charater development and she just like an extra kinda of
