One one my favourite of Adachi manga works. The female lead such as tsundere-like. haha. like the other Adachi works, the female lead usually was a popular girl in school or the story and male lead just a plain looking or not popular but in this manga, the male lead becomes more and more popular as the story goes. It's funny when the female lead jealous and torn off the letter sent by the fan girls/admirer/crush to the male lead. but at last confesses her feelings to the male lead after the new girl, a "onee-chan-like" appear. This "onee-chan" really straight-forwardly to the female lead and stated to make the male lead as her husband which the female lead feels threatened. lol. I really want to know about "Onee-chan" more but sadly this was axed though it still gives such as pleasure ending.

One of my least favorite Adachi manga.
Not a big fan of the shounen style battles. Our MC is a newbie with hidden potential who spends most of the time getting the shit beat out of him and winning through "guts".
Pretty much Adachi's attempt to go mainstream.

Katsu! lives to it's name. It is a sports orientated romance, so do not expect too much action, but rather drama, of the good type. Everything in this series revolves around boxing and the two protagonists, who by the way have good chemistry(although it is the boy lead who is all over her), even so, their interactions are funny and cute. Also, the manga is highly entertaining, which says alot, since I know nothing of boxing as a sport. It is definitely worth your time.

This is one of the best manga Adachi sensei's ever done. A little ecchi, or should i say fan-service . Good story, nice romance, but it seems to lack romance . As expected, Adachi will give us an open ending. That's quite disappointed me, i want more romance and epilogue, but somehow it's Adachi's style, cant help it.
It's not Ippo still an Adachi masterclass

This one reads like all Adachi mangas I have read so far easy on the eye with a wonderful flow to the story that I enjoy so much . As a plot its not very complex but that is never the point with Adachi san he is the master of light stories and this one is as gripping as Cross Game which I feel, is his best work .

Another typical Adachi work

The plot development is like any other of his sport manga. There isn't much things to say about this manga because the basic plot is like any of his other works. I ending didn't surprise me because most of his works ends with an open ending where you just know that the couple with get together. I just thought that there should be at least a kiss or something .
Overall its a good manga from Adachi. It's not his best work but it's still good.

As others said this is typical Adachi. Embrace and be honest to your feelings; never let go of your dreams. I liked it though, as far as Adachi's works go, surely one of my favorites. Recommended if you like his work and or like boxing manga.
Pretty typical Adachi work *spoiler alert*

What is typical? There is a principle love interest, and several supporting characters "love" that character and tries everything to make that person their own. The principle characters never openly reject those that form the love triangle or polygon.
As expected of Adachi the ending is left open. It's pretty much assumed that the principle couples hook up. I really wanted to see an actual kiss instead of a silhouette, but that's just me.
I enjoyed everything right up towards the end. It felt like it was being rushed, and in doing so, it made the story drag.

This series was really funny at most times. The art was also really good. It's just that it wasn't a manga you just can't put away.I could easily pause for some months before reading another chapter. So I guess there hardly was any suspense. The boxing theme of this manga was often a bit hard to follow, for example during fights.

This was a very enjoyable manga. It had comedy, romance, and drama. It also didn't burden us with too much sports data like other sports mangas that I've read. I would really hope that this gets licensed here in the states, I would love to own the hard copy volumes.
