If you can manage your immediate, instinctive reactions of disgust to make it past 12 chapters, you have a good chance of finding out why some people like this manga.

It doesn't have to be for the ecchi or the BDSM. The story IS really humourous, once you get down to it, precisely because in such an absurd situation, the boys are desperately trying to remain human. And once you see that the girls too are human - if slightly abnormal - then you might actually want to read on. As a tangential sidenote, this manga very strongly reminds me of the conclusions of the "Stanford Prison Experiment" - it's very possible that the characters' outlooks, tendencies and actions are shaped by the positions in which they have been placed.

There are really detailed, disgusting looking faces in a dramatic panel, and that always creeps me out. I can't deny the humor though. It's made me laugh out loud many times. It actually gets better at around chapter 15 or so. If you don't really like it in the beginning, keep going. The humor definitely gets more intense.

The only reason I have to knock off one point is due to how much the author padded/dragged/milked the Cavalier Arc... it was obscene how much I had to slog through it.

So this manga is considered completed I guess, with the epilogue coming out in April so I'll probably update this review depending on how the epilogue is.

There were some chapters were I would just laugh at the sheer ridiculousness that the characters displayed and the things that they went through just to see women in wet t-shirts. The main group in this manga is what really makes this worth the read, unless you're in it for the boobs and butt then I'm sure you have plently of reasons to read this manga (you dirty perverts lol). I would scale the nudity in this manga at a soft porn level. There is a lesbian sex scene and lots of nearly revealed vajaja's and a whole ton of full blown boob reveals. Also male parts as well but they are censored. ALL IN ALL, don't read this if you don't like nudity because it only gets more frequent the further you get in the story!

The humor in this manga was really top notch and the art in this story was also very good in my personal opinion.

There isn't much of a story outside of the realm of the boys getting close to the girls at the school they're at and having to work around the school council were the girls are extremely sexist against the guys.

I am incredibly disappointed though if this is the ending that we are receiving. I hope the epilogue can turn my opinion around because I really enjoyed this manga but with the way it ended there was no progress in the end. Everything just kind of reset to the way it was in the beginning and all the progress made just feels lost; overall giving me the feeling that I just wasted my time with this.

At first when I started reading this series, I found it pretty entertaining. But you start to notice that many chapters have absolutely no plot development and the same things happen, just drawn at different angles. The angle that annoys me the most is the upskirts, especially when there's dialogue as if her sweaty snatch is talking.
The ecchi crap is the only thing that keeps this series going, not that it interests me in the least. Revealing, pointless angles of one girl's tits and twat takes up 1/4 to 1/3 of all the panels (exaggerated estimate, but not by much). This is purely a fan service manga with a some comedy (mostly toilet and sexual-ish humor) and plot (if you'd call it that). The story progresses so slowly because of all the fan service and it just becomes stale unless you really like seeing essentially the same image of a scantily clad, sweaty cartoon girl, who apparently has no nipples or they're on the underside of her tits, from slightly different angles. Personally, I'd enjoy to see a bit of drama that doesn't revolve around something ecchi.
I find most of the characters generic, but most manga is the same in that area. The principal is, IMO, the only original character. The setting is very original and is the ONLY reason I've kept up with the series, although I usually skim through many pages. I do like the principal, though.
What I don't understand, like somebody else said, is why the boys don't stand up for themselves when they're getting the shit knocked out of them. The only person who has a reason to stay there is the MC because of a love interest (another generic love interest where the MC acts like that's the only girl in the world he could be with), so I don't see why the other guys don't go berserk or leave. Yeah, the story could lose some of it's pizazz (for lack of better words), but it could also open up new events, such as new male students or one of the boys who leave could help them from the outside. I know this is a manga, but it doesn't mean it's impervious against flaws. Using "it's a manga" defense is something a child would say. That's equivalent to a television show about people who sit on a couch and fart the entire time and saying "it's just a TV show."
One last thing which befuddles me is why some people comment here just to disagree with another person or persons who dislike the manga. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, so who cares?
@Dickegrobe- I think everyone (at least guys) have done something their not proud of, especially when it comes to masturbation and drunken sex Though I doubt that's the reason many people dislike this manga. The common theme for these "naysayers" (not a hyphenated word BTW) is the excessive fan service. Yeah, I'm an asshole and a hypocrite, but I couldn't help but to point out the similar points.

tl;dr A LOT of fan service, insubstantial plot, original setting, story slowly progresses in most chapters, and primarily sophomore humor. If you like you manga with lot of nearly nude moments, then this one is for you.

This series is pretty original. Two things really get to me, though. The first is the over-the-top ecchi. There's way too much fan service in each chapter and none of it brings anything to the table as far as plot and character development. It's just stupid and sad. The second is the fact that they're kids being held in a "prison" on school grounds. Has it ever occurred to them that they could literally do whatever they want as far as leaving? Who cares if they have to go to a different school? Or when they try to get info off a computer to help their case, they could just waltz right into the student counsel room and take it. It wouldn't be hard at all. Now, I'd never hit a woman, but if that was the kind of treatment I was getting, I'd simply beat the hell out of them. It's self-defense. Being slapped, kicked, or punched is one thing, but weapons is another thing. Why they (the underground student counsel) aren't in this prison is beyond me. Sure, it's a manga, I'm not stupid, but there's a line between fiction and ridiculous and it's been crossed many times in this series. I just don't know. I'm losing interest in this series fast.
For all these series where a guy puts up with all kinds of stupid crap for the sake of infatuation, there must be a LOT of desperate people who'd think "I'd do that" in order for some of these garbage series to sell. Most of these series I can hardly read, but since it's free, why not. I'd never pay for crap like this. This is basically a manga for kids to buy and jack off to. Whoever says otherwise is truly blind. All the awkward angles make me sick. This series has an interesting story, but I'm beginning to hate it because I just can't appreciate cartoon porn or anything like it.

Sick and weird shit right here . This manga is full of the moment make me want to say WTF, That **** real? A very hard core manga in my opinion , thing in here arent for every one to enjoy . At first the story look ridiculous ( Spoiler : i still feel the same way now ) , then the comedy kick in . The story start to feel more enjoyable and fun as more you process , just give it some time .

The problem with this series is the art. Its good, yes. But the art has a rather serious tone to it, and that gives a strange flare to the comedy. I find that the comedy is rather dry, either leading to a over-the-top or thats-not-funny-at-all delivery. And its really hard to tell where its trying to be funny and where its being serious. Things like being forced into extended confinement? Not funny. Regular and savage beatings? Not funny. Public lynching? Not funny. But it seems that its trying to be funny with all of these things. That is to say, there are some parts that are quite amusing (You will just have to find them yourself). Ultimately its not a bad series, especially if you are just looking for some tits, but its not the best thing I have ever read.

After reading several of the comments and looking at a few of the pages this was going to turn into a standard romance comedy highschool-series with better than average drawings, so I thought. How wrong I was. In the course of the first volume basic human rights are violated and the boys are treated like shit from all-powerful females. There is absolutely no comedy to be found in here, if you are not into this kind of torture as people are beaten and beaten again for the slightest amount of resistance. Not to mention that the male cast is horrifyingly submissive and disgusting. You feel sorry for them, but any laughter is bound to be stuck in your throat. I´ve read other mangas where sadism was shown and this is simply without style and going into violence, and not the good kind.

I am rating this a 4 as the drawings are really good, even though the males are distortet at times and the females are very much sexualized to some degree.
