I'm very, VERY into old manga and manhwa. Mostly because they can be silly sometimes. And this is the most "old manhwa-esque" manhwa I've found. Fights everywhere, the pacing is odd, the characters low-key break the law and it's all fine in the end.
This one is an adaptation from a novel that, for the little I could read, was a big headache. I didn't go through the end for the rest of sanity I still have, but it surely had more content than this manhwa and I agree with some reviews here about the topic. Still, even though it was sometimes way too insane to be believable, I guess that was the charm? The ending was trash, tho. It's those types of stories you read for the ride and not for the destination.

I'm giving this a three mainly because of the artist, because I love her way of drawing. But other than that...
The story had potential, but everything just seemed so hasty. There was no real thread during the entire story. Things just sort of happened and all of a sudden they were somewhere else and things had happened to the characters between chapters. Nothing made much sense. It's too bad because it really did have potential!

Well that was...interesting. I got to the last page and was seriously surprised it was over. Very strange build up to the end...no, I take that back, there was no build up. As mentioned before, stories all over the place but the dialogue is pretty funny. That's really the only reason I got through it.
Abridged version?

I never read the novel, so I could be wrong, but it feels like the author cherry picked some of the most important plot points and skipped all the character/relationship development. I kept thinking that I had skipped a chapter because so much was alluded to but left out the actual story. It reminds me of watching a movie that's been condensed from a multi-season tv series without having see the original show, I don't understand the motivations or importance of the individual characters.
Maybe if the series was longer and the author was able to actually develop the characters and lead up to the main plot twists, I could have enjoyed it more, but, as it is, I feel like I just read the cliff notes version of the book.

Ah, today I finished this Manhwa finally and - What should I say?
First off, the character development and the storyline isn't all that catchy. There are weaknesses, that have been mentioned in the comment before and sometimes I just felt like giving it up to finish this, but then ...
I turned the next page and again there was a line that made me crack laughing. Yeah, I have to admit, that the jokes got me. Especially the comments from the male lead pushed me off the edge and made me stick with this. All in all, that's why I would maybe even read it again after some time and feed myself with the amazing artwork of KIM Jea-Eun again, while smiling about those lines and that one character's weird side. Kkk~

Character and couple development is very very poor. I don't know why I still bothered to continue reading this when the way the story is handled doesn't make me care about the characters and the main pairing themselves and the dialogues make a little sense too. Since there's no actual plot here, why not make the characters likeable at least? Their personalities come off rather bland, uninteresting and annoying -- especially the heroine. Not to mention the romance is very rushed that it's unbelievable. I'll give it 2 for the art but I'm officially dropping this.
Maybe I should check out the movie adaptation or the novel instead.
