From Psycho Pandas:
"I have something I don't want to lose. So much so that these terrible feelings have grown."
A pianist who attempted suicide 3 times, Juri, is taken to help her aunt at a prison where murderers who killed indiscriminately are sentenced to death. There, she meets a man named Yuu who took the lives of 3 people. A mother's antagonism--a brother's death. Sahara Mizu has done it once again. She delivered a beautiful tale with absolutely gorgeous artwork along with it. Though her stories have a touch of sadness, there is always a moral message to make you think. I definitely recommend reading this.
Very sad, very good

Very sad. I cried and cried, then I laid awake half the night and thought about crying some more. (I probably should not have read it right before bed after a rough day.)
This manga is all about the characters. They develop nicely, are rounded, and unique. I especially liked Inoue, though I can't say that a warden so unjaded seems plausible. Still, it didn't spoil my enjoyment. He fit seamlessly with the quiet, sober atmosphere of the prison. The fragile, complex relationships that form between Inoue, Juri, and Yuu propel the story forward, but their depth make the manga feel much longer than 8 chapters.
I gave this manga a 9.5. Surprising, given the number of negative things to say about it. It toys with the melodramatic. There are a few gratuitous elements. The whole ambiguous religion theme doesn't seem to have a clear message and just comes off as kinda weird. The art's solid, but nothing special. (ok, I did like how Inoue was drawn, he looks very human, but maybe I just really like his character.) Yet, none of this wound up mattering. The author's got some serious story-telling-through-character skill.
I'm not a big fan of tragedy. So much of it turns out to be weak characters wallowing through improbable events that feel completely calculated. Not so with Watashitachi no Shiawasena Jikan. If you like a well told story, but tragedy's not usually your thing, I recommend giving this manga a read.

Yumeka Sumomo draws well as always, and the story unfolds nicely. But I don't like the story itself. It becomes more and more melodramatic by the end that it reminds me A LOT of korean movies -_- (well, it IS written by a korean author).
Really Good

I really liked this story. I cried so hard at the end. I am also very grateful that there is no death penalty in my country. Yes, there are probably some who cannot/won't change and may deserve it, but what of those who can/will change? Just an opinion. Nothing personal.
Amazing.

I really liked this manga. Even though it was short, it felt really long. You wait and you'll see, you'll feel the pain just as they do and smile just when they smile. Ending feels like its unpredictable but once you are nearing the end, you know what will happen if you see behind the painful moments you know that that was the right ending.
OH MY GOD.

SO FREAKING SAD!!!! but very very good. Even if you hate sad stories you have to read this. Because its the kind of story where you shed a tear but you smile at the same time. :')

Everything and I love the story. So much. Its heart aching and the plot is drawn well. Even though most of the panel were filled up with 'mute' character, their face expression express everything.
The story is amazing, truly amazing with out standing main two character relationship. In fact, I felt the pain too.
The ending is unpredictable.
-spoiled-
Sometimes, in other manga we seen the character been saved before the death penalty but not in this manga. Yuu died and a slight moment before he died really teared me badly.
Very great. I praised the author for the novel and I also love Sahaza Mizu to turn it into something in person.

I haven't read an emotional manga in a long while. The subtle drama and sentimental plot just draws you in immediately. By the end all the pent up emotions you end up feeling is just released, and you are left feeling exactly how Juri feels by the end. This was such a touching, emotional, and sentimental story that I would recommend people to read. You will not regret it, besides the artwork really nice and unique--(it's got Mizu's signature all over it XD).
Another fine one

Yes, a great one overall
Kinda slow at the beginning, but the whole story evolved nicely and ended greatly (I finished it in 1 reading) The link between protagonists is greatly formed. Deep character buildings through flashback and past story telling which lead to nicely formed characters. Emotions are nicely projected agony, loneliness, sadness, wrath all those dark and angst feelings are nicely put into the story.
The artworks aren't really satisfactory, but still good enough. Some of Sahara Mizu's other works have better artwork than this one.

It's a perfect ending. The way it ended, I mean. (no spoilers D
I love Sahara Mizu's artstyle, and it really fits her stories, which usually carry a hint of sadness in them. This story is very educational in many ways, and from the start to the end, it was nothing but perfection.
