I can't wait for the end of this series. After eight volumes with another super-tsundere uke and a constantly overclingy, overworried seme, nothing feels like it has changed since the first few chapters. It was really good in the beginning, but then everything seemed to stagnate, and now I'm looking forward to putting this manga on my finished list. It's a little irritating that it's taking so long. I think her other works are much better.
Oh, but the art is as good as usual.

I absolutely love Souichi`s character..he is such a devil but can`t help himself against Morinaga-kun.
it`s an unusuall shonen-ai story and I enjoyed it a lot

The anime put me off. I wasn't satisfied of being disappointed, so I kinda checked the manga. And really, rape on the first few chapters? Ermm yea. The uke is too tsundere in his own good, and the seme raped the uke in the first place. Yea yea, kinda like the uke's fault for dropping his guard (victim blaming; 50-50 on this issue imo) but if he (seme) had his love controlled (which proves greater love), then I would honestly praise him for that. But he kinda lost it in the second chap so no. Quite confused why a lot of people praise this? I guess this situation is similar to Nozomu Bekumonai where a lot of people loved it but it kinda start at rape idk.

I hated how Souichi would act Tsundere. No, there's no problem in being tsundere, but he just overdoes it. Throughout this manga, I felt as if Souichi's tsundere-ness creates problem in their love life. Just give Morinaga a proper answer already! even though it's obvious that you're in love with him and you know it by yourself. And morever, how is he a "homophobic"? He is not a homophobic at all. Like I said, he is a tsundere. And he couldn't accept the fact that his brother went abroad with another man and also got married later on. It looked like he kinda had some brother complex or something. Whatever, he couldn't accept it, that's all. It didn't really look like he hated homos at all...Not after you be a homo by yourself.


What the hell man? Why would you ask him? How does he know? He shouldn't know that ONLY because he is gay! It made me actually happy that

Though, I'm just waiting for Souichi to confess his feelings. Man, you can't be this shy, right? His shyness and tsundere personality made me feel that he was born to be the bottom aka uke. The art is nice, though not the best. I liked how both of them developed though. Just waiting for it to get finished.

Well, i decided to read this manga because of the overwhelming high ratings, however after reading up to the latest chapter, I think this manga is over rated. Its an alright manga, but its very shoujo and repetitive. I also don't like the forced sex thing and...so much sex,sex,sex, repetition in a circle. For some reason i find the constant narration and thought bubbles from Morinaga irritating. The character himself is flat and annoying.The story's pace is extremely slow(a warning) but its starting to make some progress finally, after 7 volumes?! I do appreciate how there isn't some girly uke in it.The couple reminds me of Junjou Romantica, so if you liked that manga, you'll probably enjoy this.

Coming from Challengers I already knew the characters and settings and was interested in this elder brother's story and Morinaga, who I already liked in Challengers (manga from the same mangaka from 1997).

The art improved and I really like the characters. Also the smutty scenes are sexy but same as Yuri21, below me, I find the relationship stagnation painful and more and more boring. And up to ch01 from vol5 no progress in sight, well even worse looks like a backward step after a slight progress near the end of vol 4.

*sigh*

I feel pity for Morinaga XD He really fell for the wrong guy.

Its (partly very) funny and hot moments were already entertaining enough though, so that I'll follow this story till the end. So it's a pity that the character development came to such a stillstand that it drags this manga down. Volume 6 and still on-going doesn't speak for a faster wanted development either ~.~

I can't say it's unique though. You take it's prequel; Challengers, smash the two stories together, make Souichi the male nurse at school, make Tetsuhiro a student who starts off shorter until he gets a growth spurt in the 2ed half, give him an alternative love interest with a Fujosjhi best friend, make Tomoe a little more desperate to get laid without interference of his jealous overprotective brother, make Mitsugu a huge bear of a teacher, & replace all the rape with UST & save the actual sex as a reward for the 10th volume, then you have yourself Kazuma Kodaka's "Kusatta Kyoushi no Houteishiki," a popular mid 90s manga that also got a 2 episode OAV.

The first time I read this I was 14, and I loved it.
I loved every story Hinako had, and loved Morinaga(seme).
And now 9 years later, the 23 y/o me felt disgusting reading this.

Every sex scene is a big NOPE,

It doesnt have any character grow, as in 'huh, maybe this relationship is a bit toxit, lets talk about it',

is always the uke's fault for being careless 😕? AND THE FUCKING BLACKMAIL PART AND THAT 'ONCE A WEEK' AGREEMENT, ARE YOU SERIOUS??

I got a headache reading this, instead of the seme, I couldnt stand the uke. Rather than a tsundere, he seems to be the one who wouldnt think twice before saying words that could hurt someone (worst kind of people).
The uke seems to speak some kind of alien language that has always start with "no" during sex scene, which is a total turn off. The story failed to interesting me, very repetitive with no depth. And his hair, I just wish someone to cut it already, I bet it got into the nose every sex scene.

What the hell... Morinaga raped Souichi, but Souichi himself abuse Morinaga all the time. Wonder why this book is called FICTION. It's not something that you guys really should take so damn seriously.
