Description
Kawamura Kazuya had dreamt of being a pilot when he was young. Thus when he heard that there's an aviation school five hours from where he stayed, Kawamura enrolled without giving much thought. He was placed in the same room with two other room mates. One of them, Itou, dropped out when he couldn't stand the tough life. This left Kawamura with Yoshitake, a tall, quiet and non-responsive guy.

a must read if u're looking for a good romance comedy. it's fun to read but also have deep emotional scene where it's needed. i just wish there were more chapters on their aviation school days (pre time skip).

Feels like the seme is almost more in love with his sex friend then the uke throughout the whole manga, he even buy him gifts etc.
I know many love this mangaka, but this one just did not sit well with me..

Spectacular as Always

I have reached a point in my life where I am actually scared to read sensei's work for fear of reaching an end (I sympathize with Okuzono from Inu mo Kuwanai even more now) . And so, it was with great deliberation, trepidation, and unbridled joy, that I picked up this work. And, needless to say, I was not disappointed.
While I do consider sensei's other works of similar lengths to be of a higher quality than this, such as Taiyou no Shita de Warae, nonetheless this work is not shallow, poorly thought out or drawn.
The characterizations are solid and mature. Enough background details of the situations are given to keep the story going and also not overwhelm the reader. Thematically this manga scores a 100/100 for the characters actions are consistent within the thematic framework of dream/s, nostalgia and personal space.
One thing which I would have liked to see is the background story of Yoshitake and Morishita. While the manga is quite clear on the nature of their relationship I do believe there was enough room to develop this angle in order lend more depth to not only Yoshitake's character but also Kawamura's.

Loved it!

I love Yamada Yugi's works; they just always seem to have that perfect mixture of comedy, heartache, realism, romance and sexy goodness!
This manga is no exception... I loved the characters, her art and way to express character feelings is so good, her silly faces make me laugh... the story developed nicely as well.
I enjoyed the tension and the whole airport/plane type of plot!

I don't mind that in a lot of manga, there's men who 'suddenly turn gay' because... I think it's unnecessary to put limits on sexuality. Who is to say that a man cannot go for women all his life (cause that's way easier!) and then one day suddenly fall for another man?
Of course, it becomes a bit frustrating that many mangaka seem to put in that the character mentions how he's DEFINITELY STRAIGHT like 10 times per page and all that... but if they don't then, let the characters be whoever they are.

It's not a perfect manga, it's got a rather fast pace and builds up to where the couple realizes they're in love, and by that time the mangaka has to rush to finish the book, however that's normal in 1 volume works.... it's still a very entertaining and interesting read and I'd recommend it to any BL reader.

It started out well and I liked how the story was going. But then without any warning the uke just realizes "Hey I love this guy even though I'm straight" and there! We got our happy ending way too easy and fast.

The subject about dreams and making dreams come true was still well handled so that brought points for this story. It gave a nice spice and some depth to the characters and the whole manga.

I loved this manga deeply. The love between Kawamura and Yoshitake was so sweet, that I actually felt my eyes sting during one of the chapters.
I wasn't expecting much out of this manga, but as the tag suggests, it is realistic, and the characters feel so genuine.
I wish there would've been more on Morishita and Yoshida, though. I was quite interested in their relationship, and I think it would've been nice to see how their relationship progressed.
Overall, this was a lovely manga, and I can definitely say that I did not regret reading this.

I loved this story. Like, head over heels fell in love with it. And the author. I tried to resist. I didn't like the pacing, the art, etc. of hers at first, but now I'm done for.

Her stories are solid, her characters are interesting and endearing, and the emotion conveyed is amazing. I'm spoiled now. I can't read the smutty, plotless, flat character stories anymore.

But read this. It's really, REALLY good.

Oh i loved this. I almost very nearly skipped this because i've read other manga about aviation and they always put me to sleep, but i figured i'd give it a try (you never know right?) and its good that i did biggrin Highly enjoyable, sweet, loveable and hilarious, but then many of this mangaka's works share those qualities, and after realising who the author was i was all the more determined to read it. I laughed hysterically at times, i also felt alot of heart throb moments bigrazz great manga, very very good.

Oh how I love this gentle manga ... as well as all Yamada Sensei's works. Fortunately, she has a long bibliography. She's like the Charles Dickens of yaoi in her ability to make the small quest for love and justice come alive. These are solid, real characters you can care about ... even the side characters have enough presence to make them indispensable to the story. Yamada's pacing, sense of humor, as well as sense of place, are equaled by few other mangaka. Sex, while explicit enough to definitely qualify as 'yaoi', never seems rushed or gratuitous.
