I recomend Threads of Time, which deals with reincarnation. There are some rape scenes but the action and story are pretty good.

I don't know if this fits but maybe Vampire Juujikai too?

Appreciative of all the suggestions in here (although, I'm seeing some harems squeeze by). Just adding two more titles to the growing thread.

Monochrome Factor and Nabari no Ou.

They both deal with memories in some way. MF for reincarnation and the Nabari no Ou for
Spoiler (highlight to view)
memories being taken away and stored in a small tube.

It's been awhile since I had anything to do with this thread that I created, but I just want to add an update to it since I keep coming across more manga.

2010 add-ons...

Innocent Dragon - Shoujo - A nun-in-training, who comes across a village in search of a legendary dragon. She has an unusual ability that enables her to have some kind of connection with the village leader's son...and the legendary dragon?

(And before you wonder exactly what this has to do with memories, that part isn't touched on until later. Meaning, beyond what's currently scanlated at the time of this post. This has to do with the nun and her past, but, there's still a question of possible reincarnation as well concerning more than one character...)

D.Gray-Man - Shounen - Allen Walker is sent by his Master to join an exorcist branch to fight the Millenium Earl, at the same time, find the "Heart" before the Earl does. In order to fight the Earl, his reincarnating family, and Akuma, exorcists use Anti-Akuma weapons known as "Innocence". That is only the surface of the story as we discover Allen isn't just another parasitic Innocence user with a cursed left eye....

(I know this has been mentioned in related threads before and has been out for a VERY long time, but I've been avoiding this manga for years. Therefore, I'm late into the DGM game. I thought this was going to be a typical shounen manga, but I'm glad it didn't end up that way. ^_^)

Ten Yori mo Hoshi Yori mo - Shoujo - Girl had a traumatic experience of losing her parents to a fire and moves in with a guy claiming to be a relative. But, life isn't so quiet even after that when people are trying to kill her allowing her to discover that she has a special power. She isn't alone in this ordeal as there is someone else involved, who seems to be someone from that girl's past life...(as well as the "relative"). This story might just remind you of Avatar: The Last Airbender a bit....

Code Breaker - Shounen - Story almost starts off typical more for a shoujo at first. Serious-type martial arts girl sees some strange incident on a bus ride. At school, a new transfer student arrives with that air of mystery. Then of course, the girl links the incident with the transfer student and tries to confront him about this. The new student eventually reveals his special power with his special catch phrase of "Eye for an eye, tooth for tooth and evil for evil". But behind his Cheshire smile, there is something more that meets the eye. Even with the organization he works for...

Are You Alice? - Josei - A guy, named Alice, wanders into Wonderland and is instantly thrown into the mystery of the world. With only a name, Alice is the 89th Alice, and the fate of Wonderland is placed on his shoulder. Who is the real Alice and what is the White Rabbit's intention?

(It's what happens when you throw Pandora Hearts' Oz, Alice, and Gilbert into another dimension. Give the "Drink Me" bottle to Oz, make Alice a Regret, and make Gil's hair longer. Asides from the clear PH influences ((or minor plagiarisms?)), the story is still unique in retrospect. I think it will involve the "memory" eventually, because it's clear that the moral is that you shouldn't throw away your past if you want to move on.)

--------- And that's it for now. roll eyes If I find something else interesting, I'll probably revisit here in 2011. laugh

After School Nightmare sorta fits (one of my favourite Shoujo). I believe Vampire Girl does as well.

^ Thanks for adding onto the list! ^_^ Edit: Yeah, ASN is a technical, I suppose, because it dealt with a certain character's trauma if I remember right. It's been awhile since I read it. Never finished it though.

(And thank you to anyone else, who contributes anything else after this...)

Himitsu deals with memories, too.
Maybe not that kind of memories you're looking for, but it's pretty interesting.
It takes place in a time, where it's possible to look at people's brains after they died, meaning looking at their memories. The twist is, that the watchers don't hear any sounds, they just hear pictures. With that kind of method the main characters solving murder cases.

I'm going to state the obvious and reccomend Forget. I think this needs no explanation.

Also Kurohime, since about at 1/4 of the way through the series, there's this thing where every time she uses her power, she forgets one of the memories she has about Zero.

E's perhaps, since there seems to be some memory-wipes and mind control business going on, I think. It's been ages since I read it, looked at the raws, or watched the anime. And yes, I did all three one upon a time. -shot- XD

Immortal Rain -- I forget his name, but Rain's nemesis is reborn with all his memories intact from each and every life he's ever lived.

Ueki no Housoku Plus -- Everyone's memories of their friends are erased except Ueki's, so he goes on a journey to another world to get them back o__o

Qwan -- Qwan doesn't remember the purpose he was sent down to the human world for. I don't remember if this was a big deal or not....

Blast -- He forgets he was ever an angel (though I'm not sure this counts because from what I gathered, he was "reborn" as a human, but for some reason they think he'd want to return to being an angel despite having no memories of it? Or was he supposed to remember and accidentally forgot? Eh?)

Perhaps you would enjoy Memories of Emanon. It doesn't deal with amnesia directly, and it is a girl who has these memory issues, but it has quite an interesting premise, i think.

Has to do with memory, although I wouldn't say amnesia or anything.

Over the Moon
"We are all influenced by the moon..."
Nao is a pickpocket, stealing money so he and his sister Akira, who suffers from lunatic breakdowns every time the moon becomes full, can live. But which one of them is really affected by the moon?
Spoiler (highlight to view)
Supposedly, he's mad about his family trying to get rid of his sister. His dad keeps insisting that she died. I think she was still born or something similar
