Well, Finding authenitc stuff in manga is really rare.. Anyway; Here is my two cents;

Angel Sanctuary (Angels and Demons from the bible (Michael, Rafael etc.) mixed with other mythology as well - Such as the norterhn mythology)
Bride of the water God (Based an old korean myth about the God Habaek)
Hanafuda (Full colour hentai based on japanese folklore. So pretty <3)
Olimpos (Greek Gods and mythology.)
Shirahime-Syo (Japanese folklore; snow prinsess)
Shin Shunkaden (Based on the korean legend about ChunYang)
1001 nights (Arabian stories.)

And some where I'm uncertain if they really fit your criteria:
Tokage
Koori no Mamono no Monogatari
The Mysterious Stories of Ghost Moon Tower
Adekan

Urm..
Shin Angyo Onshi
Basilisk
Houshin Engi: Okay, this is a VERY loose adaptation of a chinese classic. But it is done relatively well and does keep some of the important parts of the actual story.
Bride of the Water God
Yumekui Kenbun
Skyhigh

I like shamanic manga too biggrin

Dangu Manwha about a marginalized population of shaman that are being slowly wiped out of the population in power. Not so much magic, but it's heavy on culture, tradition and the like.

Blanking on the other one. I'll edit this if i remember.
