Beauty Pop would probably be my first unless Di Gi Charat counts... that's a moe. I've pretty much only read shoujos from the beginning of my manga addiction.

Peach Girl
I also collected Card Captor Sakura back then, but I already was familiar with the anime, so Peach Girl was the first shoujo I got to know in manga form. The release of Peach Girl in my country was really bad: they released each volume split in half (in other words, here Peach Girl has twice as many volumes), the quality of the paper was awful, and, for some reason, the pages are mirrored in order for the manga to be read as a western comic book. It was really weird. The cherry in top of the cake is that the publishing company cancelled Peach Girl when it was a few volumes from the end of the manga, so it took me years to find Peach Girl in English in an online reader to read the end of it. It makes me really sad to have an incomplete collection.

First? Wow...that was about a decade ago. Uh, I'm like 90% sure it was Alice 19th by Watase Yuu.
Ah, memories.

I haven't really been into shoujo for very long, but I think my first shoujo series was 'Shoujo Shounen' by [Yabuuchi Yuu]. It is quite unknown but I really liked it, especially the artstyle, I like huge eyes, and it totally got me into shoujo!

I guess maybe it'll be completed some day.......and that I might even get to actually read it.

I consider mine to be Miracle Girls.
I read the whole collection in a few days and it made me think WOW this is AMAZING! Where can I get more?! Starting my obsession.
I found it randomly at a new public library branch I started to go to. I feel like I was really lucky
