I can't remember the name, but its one where everyone at one point has a dream and this one kid shares it with this one girl and after they wake up they all have psychic powers.
the kid mentioned has light powers but nobody could figure it out and thought he didn't have any because of the color (white or not seen or something) and the girl is a fire user, his older brother uses metal and they fougth some calamity or some other.

I don?t really remember the first manga I read, but what introduced me to this world was a short video on Youtube showing Inuyasha breaking Kagome?s clock that my sister showed me in Primary School Because I thought it was funny I started watching the anime and from there more and more anime and then I started reading manga. It?s been about ten years since I started.
For me it was Fruits Basket maybe in 2006 or 2007. I was only a little kid then but I made my mom buy all the books that had come out.

The first manga I remember reading was Death Note. It almost stopped me from reading more manga (I'm really not a fan though I don't know why I don't like it). It was when I was in college, probably about 2009 or so.
I can't remember the exact manga that really got me started. I think it was either Emma or xxxHolic. But I've been reading more and more manga each year.

Elfen Lied, probably around 8 years ago, I don't remember why I decided to read it. But reading it isn't what made me want to read more manga, it was watching the anime after and seeing how short the story was cut.

My first manga would be Doraemon when I was... Idk, 5 years old? I only remember collecting the series when I was 1st grade. But it was Sailormoon that got me into manga. Yep, some of you might not be born yet.

My big brother is 10 years older than me, so he would read manga and I would read it too out of curiosity. I was in grade school, but my first manga was Maison Ikkoku. What really got me and two other siblings hooked were Ranma 1/2 and Inuyasha though. I can't remember exactly when, but I think I started reading around 3rd grade.
We all have developed our own taste and preferences in manga now that it's been 20 years, but my big brother and I still excitedly talk about One Piece every week.

I remember discovering that my local library at the time had manga, so I took, like, three random volumes of manga. The very first manga I read was the "Fruits Basket" volume that

I started reading manga in 2002. My first series was Kamikaze Kaito Jeanne, closely followed by D.N. Angel and Angel Sanctuary. And I remember being really excited about having discovered something much more interesting than Donald Duck and Mickey Mouse.

The first manga i read was Ranma 1/2 ( still one of my favorite)
My childhood best friend sister had the first 3 book.
Being told that it was fun to read i borrowed then. After reading the 3 volume i wanted to read the next but couldn't and that is how i began to be part of the manga community.
It was in 2001 and 6 year later i joined MU and became addicted to manga/ japaness light novel.

I started reading manga back in 2009 in hopes of learning about Japanese culture. The first one that I found sufficiently great to set me to prowling through Manga Updates for other good ones was "Strawberry 100%".
