There should def be more of these threads... I think scanlation groups should ask more about what other people actually want to read. I'd be really interested in reading those early manga too...
Ah, I wanted to add how pissed it makes me thinking all the crappy pointless manga that is scanned these days, and these classics aren't even available...!

Well, there are a lot of scanlation people that frequent this site. It's my wish that some take these as suggestions.
I've heard that scanlating the classics is hard, though. The raws are hard to find and some of the language is more flowery and complex than it is now, especially in shoujo.

I actually want Eiken to get scanlated. The OVAs were hilarious, and there are torrents everywhere that have the completed manga in raw form.

But most of us can't read Japanese or edit. That's why we admire scanlators so much.

That looks like a good read.

I wish somebody would take ping pong club over.
This thread is for unscanlated manga.
Use this if you want to suggest it.

I'm still too lazy too go through my lists to name specific series but I like a whole lot of what Media Works publishes; I wish more of their stuff would be scanlated.
Yeah, that kept me from joining a group for a good while. But there are other jobs too--you could scan raws, or proofread if you've got the skill. Any job you can do, there's a group that'll be happy to have the help.

Yup yup! The only way to judge!
That one looks good to me too. Judging by the cover, of course~

More of the 24-gumi's works need to be scanlated, especially HAGIO Moto. They're called revolutionary and groundbreaking for a reason!
