Beginner's Shounen

Hello
i'm looking for a good shounen, but i'm not really into it, but i think it's time i start one. I'll probably read the scanlation, and it's really tiring to stare into fight scenes on the computer, so i think that's why i don't really like it until now.
though i read bleach and i love it, that's about it.
i need something so amazing that's not too dark and i'd prefer if it had a bit of romance in it.

You will probably like to read 1/2 Prince, it's a cross breed between Shounen and Shoujo (it's really a Shounen but people kept complaining that is was too girly so the admins compromised). So, you might really like this one as a starter series.
Some more that I'd suggest for you are...
Nurarihyon no Mago--I think this one has some action scenes in it, but I don't think they will make you stare blankly at the screen.
Vampire Juujikai--This one's a possibility, but I think it might have just that much action in that it might bore you... however, I think they are done well enough that you wont hate it too much... also the story is fairly shoujo-esque that you might not care about the action.
Short Program--This is a bunch of oneshots that you might really like.
Amanchu!--No action what-so-ever. It is about a girl that really, really likes the ocean.
Now, I also think that you might like Seinen series that are also slice of lifes. Some of these include...
Adventure Boys--This is by the same author of Short program, and like it is also a volume of oneshots.
Binbou Shimai Monogatari--This is about two young sister that need to find a way to survive with out their parents.
Chocolat (Seinen)--This is about a girl that needs to deal with her new family, and it can be a bit silly but the story is nicely done.
Nicoichi--This one is a possible... a small possibility but I'll suggest it anyway.

Not too dark... so I'll recommend:
Nabari no Ou - like Vampire Juujikai, it's more plot-driven and about the characters instead of action.
Watashitachi no Tamura-kun - sweet and interesting shounen romance, a bit too dramatic though
Spiral - mystery + psychological. Hope it's not too dark
Sakura Yuki - short stories. If you like this one, make sure you check out her another title
Kami no Mizo Shiru Sekai - this is cute and fun. You should try it at least once.
Tegami Bachi - might interest you too, is also plot and character-driven.
Defence Devil and Franken Furan are a bit dark, but they are not the tragedy type (comedy instead). So I think they should be mentioned.
For seinen, you could try Arcana Soul and M.C. Law. They are light-hearted and probably close to typical shounen. For seinen slice-of-life and comedy, I really recommend Genshiken.
xxxHolic - unique and intelligent seinen without too much drama and tragedy
Fudanshism - Fudanshi Shugi - seinen but I am sure you will be interested in this one. 😉
There are a lot of shounen without action (so without fight scenes if you don't like them). You could do a search for non-action shounen.

Definitely Chrno Crusade. Maybe a little sad, but I think it's really enjoyable even for a girl (Hope you're a girl, otherwise I'm sorry 😛 ).
And Superior, I didn't find in your lists so I'm gonna highly suggest it, 'cause there are probably more girls than guys into it even if it's a shounen.
I supposed (but maybe I'm wrong) that you meant an "action but not with so much action shounen" so I'm excluding purely romance school life based shounen (i.e. Toradora!). Otherwise I have something else to suggest. 😛

Ares or 666 Satan mayhaps? If you want to go with something short to start with I would do 666.
Twin Spica is really shoujo/josei-like. Its very light, too.

Midori no Hibi (comedy - good anime too.)
Blood + (romance is subtext in this one, and the horror isn't all that dark - also a good anime.)

I'm with them. Air Gear is horrible. Its one of those popular shounen that you read and then are like, "How the hell did this get popular?" because it sucks.
P.S No offense to anyone who likes the series. Person opinion, personal opinion.

These ones I'll agree with cause they stand a chance at catching your interest.
