Haou Airen. I read the first few chapters and it put me off smut for life. Which is a good thing.

Kaikuen Phrase was the second one i ever read

I can't really remember.... Maybe it was Hot Gimmick. I think it was.... Or maybe Haou Airen was i can't really remember. Now i really don't know after reading all of the comments. Now i'm thinking it is Red River. Or something by Kanou Noriko, i really love her drawings. Her guy characters are so enticing.

I can't really say which I read first, since I read these all about the same time:
It's Not Like That, Darling -- funny, cute, with weird SF elements; my favorite part is the extra story "Stress Pink."
Haa Haa -- Made me a devoted fan of smut in general and YOSHIHARA Yuki in particular.
Midnight Secretary -- Sexy vampire (who isn't dead), what more could you want?

It was Kyou, Koi wo Hajimemasu and I dropped it. I don't like smut. But if the series is good, I'll ignore it.

Suddenly, Shinjo Mayu EVERYWHERE.
Well keeping with the trend,
Sex=LoveĀ² and Haou Airen
I think Love Monster was somewhere towards the beginning too. It was definitely the one I enjoyed most.

Haha, I saw previous posts too, And I saw a lot of people mentioning shinjo mayu's work. And I thought the same thing, but for me it would be Kaikan Phrase. I may not be a fan of her works, but when I saw that manga, I was still a newbie..

Dude..... I had no idea what smut was at the time I just picked 3 random mangas that had "nice" looking names ( Yes I judge a books by its cover, its art too)
I picked these:
Mars
Midnight Secretary
Ayashi no Ceres
All of these in the manga children's section in my local library

This series actually didn't suck so I think this one is of the few reasons why I go for smut sometimes (not a perv!)
Midnight Secretary

Vampires! yay and with comedy always find this the most important part of it in any manga
