I finished Basara a couple days ago and it has become my favorite manga ever But now I feel lost because I don't have it there to look forward to reading so please, in my moment of mild despair, if there are any mangas like Basara or put you in awe like Basara please reccomend! Please and thank you!
My favorite part about Basara aside from the epic storyline was the romance. It was so amazing and made me cry somtimes, so yes. That's it

I recommend Kaze no Tani no NausicaƤ. It has a lot of text and thus it might be difficult to get through at first, but I personally found it epic.
You can find other ideas here and here.

There's never going to be a manga that compares to Basara T.T! I remember the time where I finished Basara I was so sad... *sigh* I wanted to read more. Most awesomest manga ever! I feel it has every genre in one (exaggerating but still..)
You can try reading her other manga 7 seeds, although unfortunately no one is really scanlating it or veery slow scanlations. It's really mind blowing, in my opinion. Saver is really similar to Basara story wise (girl dresses up as a boy, prophecy to save the world, sword fighting, around same time) but not as epic. I also recommend Tokyo Crazy Paradise just because it's also a rare manga that mixes shounen and shoujo so epically well. I also heard Anatolia story is kinda similar to Basara but I'm not really sure.. I haven't actually read it.
