i've loved the love triangles in these manga:

auto focus

fruits basket

land of the blindfolded

vampire knight

i like that both guys, in my opinion, are likable and dont force themselves on the girl, and are just good guys. anyone know any other love triangles like those?

yes i know about the categories, but jsut because a story is tagged with the love triangle category, doesnt mean both guys are likable. i just wanted to hear from someone whose read a story and liked both characters. but thanks for the help anyway.

Hana Kimi Sano is a gentleman and Nakatsu is hilarious. Both try very hard to hide their love for Mizuki, for different reasons. The art isn't that great in the beginning, but it gets much better as the series goes on.

Gakuen Alice
Shiawase Kissa Sanchoume

Oh my goodness, I know what you mean! I love both guys in both Fruits Basket and Vampire Knight.

I think you'd like Shinshi Doumei Cross. The characters remind me a lot of Furuba characters, and even though at first it seems like there isn't a love triangle (at least not one worth noting), there really is, and it's actually a major dilemma, and you just have to be patient for a little bit. But both guys are likeable; one is more Kyo-esq, the other like a meaner version of Yuki, but still very likeable.

I also really liked both guys in Obaka-chan, Koigatariki , but I'm not sure if you'd feel the same. One of them is a truly funny nice guy who is a delinquent, but a good person. The other is cold, and even when he starts to develop major feelings for the protagonist he at first pushes her away, because he thinks she should hate him. I just love both of them.

Then there's Full Moon wo Sagashite. It's by the same woman who did Shinsen Doumei, and I like both of the love interests in this one too. Though it's fairly obvious who she'll probably end up with, the plot line is still very interesting, and her relationship with the guy she probably won't end up withis revealed to be very complicated later on. Oh, as far as the guys for this one, one is similar to Kyo in character (he also changes into cat, too, which I think is just uncanny), and the other is very prince like. Not in the Yuki kind of way, but in the way where he's a genuinely sweet and kind person. He's the sort of person, who even if you are rooting for his rival, you still can't bring yourself to hate him.

Nana. I genuinely like both of the main love interests for Hachi, but I know that it's not the case for most people. Most people like one or the other, but then, the same is true for most triangle manga, so whatever. The one guy is kind of a jerk to her, and he is possessive and unfaithful etc. etc. so you really shouldn't like him, but I do anyway. Maybe it's because they have so much chemistry, and he gets upset when she get's mad at him. But I don't know. (By the way, I don't usually like that kind of guy. This time was an exception.) Anyway, the other guy is sweet, and a really doting boyfriend.

Vampire Game Haven't read this in a long time, but I remember liking both of the love interests. And I really wasn't sure who she'd end up with, which was nice.

Kaichou Wa Maid-sama. The second love interest doesn't come in for awhile, but I really like them both. It's really obvious who she'll end up with, though.

I disagree with Gakuen Alice and Shiawase Kissa Sanchoume, but that's probably just because I have very strong feelings for the love interest who, in both cases, definitely/probably won't get the girl. Basically, I'm biased.

Hope this helps some. I especially recommend the first one, but they are all good. And by the way, I loved Shiawase. I just didn't like that my favorite character probably won't win the main character's heart.

I know what you mean about rooting for the wrong side of the triangle. Strobe Edge fits the original request, I think, but I didn't list it because I really, really wanted the other guy to get the girl, and I didn't so much like the one that did.

I second Shiawase Kissa Sanchoume!! I love them both! (Even if I'm rooting for one...)

Let's see... love triangles with likable males...
Honey and Clover (but I speak for the anime which follows the manga... but I liked the anime a lot) -- though I did root for one more than the other. But both are great guys with different personalities. (Kinda like how I was rooting for one guy over the other in Fruits Basket even though I recognize both guys to be good guys.)

Ouran High School Host Club has very likable characters in the love triangle!

Kimi wa Pet -- yup yup... poor lady... having to choose...

You're probably going to laugh at this suggestion but Shugo Chara! (But I speak for the anime...)
