I've started buying more official releases, but I've always bought the Japanese books of series of I've downloaded. I think its the right thing to do.

I just recently started collecting, so i only have about 27...

I think I have about 20s something volumes worth of manga but then again I have only started reading online for a few years. Plus I only found out there was even a manga store in my city near my 2nd year of reading manga.

I also spend money on books too. I don't just read manga.

If I had to guess all the manga and books my mom bought for my family when we were still in Vietnam, it would probably in the hundreds since she bought 1 or 2 every week.

I own over 350 manga books, but the last time I checked was like MANY months ago.. I have all the shojo beat mangas soo far, and a few others from different publishers.

-__- I only own two volumes of manga.>_< Hey, I'm not rich, and I haven't found the time to go to bookstores and whatnot to buy manga. I'll eventually get to buying manga instead of always downloading it online, i'm still a teenager here.

Yah, I buy it. I've kind of switched to buying it online which is cheaper than the prices at local comic book store. At the store the average volume is at least ten bucks, and online I can get them for like four, five dollars, plus shipping (usually about $4). I own...let's see... 18 volumes of non-American manga, and two of American manga. Also one SpongeBob "Cine-Manga".

Nah read all of my manga online since the releases are so slow in Finland and so damn expensive. cheapest are around 6.90 euro volume.

My house just got three manga.
I didn't buy it, somebody give it as a present for me.
We can read manga in online. So, I didn't buy manga.

i love to buy manga. its mainly from the internet cause the shops near me a next to useless. my collection consists of:

so 'bout 42 so far but its still growing.....

I too, buy manga online instead of RL because of the price difference. I mean honestly, only an idiot would pay 12$ for a new book, when you can get one thats read once, for 5$, including shipping.... But ya.....

Sure. £5.99 per volume is a little extravagant, but to be honest I somehow prefer to have the actual book. Not to mention that you can easily get it far cheaper online.

Of course, I'm quite happy to read the scanlated versions if I A) can't buy the book or B) want to keep up-to-date with the series.

My son counted the other day, and I have over 500 volumes of manga in my room. There's probably at least another 50 or so volumes elsewhere in the house, too, and then if you count all the manga I've bought and then sold (ebay or local used book store)....it's kind of crazy...
