Yup, another thread with hair fixation.
Just as the tittle says, I'd like to read a manga with a really long-haired male protagonist and a really-short haired female protagonist, emphasis on really. Preferable by a hair if they're a couple, but just a hair. I'd rather romance isn't the plot driver. Brownie points if the male character is made of narcissism.
Please, please, don't recomend generic shoujo/shonen even if it fits perfectly. It kills me. Other than this, my tolerance level for everything else is pretty high.
Almost forgot, no overly girly male and no overly tomboy female. Just a man/woman who happens to like their hair really long/short.
Thank you!

Hm... Maybe these:
Dogs: Bullets & Carnage
Meteor Methuselah (but there's romance)
Trinity Blood... somewhat?
That's all I can think of right now.

Ningyou Kyuutei Gakudan again, haha. Twice tonight in this section. But it fits.
Here's a pic of two characters together, careful, it contains a slight spoiler.

Spoiler because
It's not a romance, though. It's about fighting zombies in a pseudo-Victorian setting.

Spoiler (highlight to view)
the girl pretends to be a boy when she first appears in the story, but her identity is uncovered very soon. She isn't really a tomboy, she has plot-related reasons.
You can't tell from this pic, but the male lead's hair reaches below his waist. It's not a romance, though. It's about fighting zombies in a pseudo-Victorian setting.

Kanata Kara - Her hair isn't "Really short" bu his is longer, and she cuts hers a little shorter later. (If I remember right)

I think Double House will fit. Sorry, but it's the only one I can think of that isn't a typical shoujo. Oh, and no brownie points for me.

He's very sadistic and narcissistic, and he has long hair (it's because he's pretending to be a girl, though . . . but he is definitely NOT girly, even though he pretends to be)
Um, her hair is short, but it's still a girl haircut, not a guy haircut, so . . .
And there isn't any romance.
Here's a picture of them.
Oh! Ciel for sure!
The guy she ends up with is very manly and has tons of hair. Oh, but he's not narcissistic . . .
Anyway, she has very short hair, like guy-short.
Neither of these characters is girly or tomboyish.
Here's a picture.
Hope I helped some.

A House in Venice -- it's got a slightly creepy vibe, but good. No brownie points though... The hair is NOT that extreme, but it is noticeably different.

Evyione -- It shows the contrast clearly.
Was about to recommend this so I'm just going to second it. Really long-haired male and the female's hair is short (but she sometimes uses wigs)
