I'm looking for manga with style like Rose of Versailles and Ouke no Monshou.
you know what i mean, big bubblish eyes and lots of sparkle. made in 1970ish.

the ones I can think of that are old are basara red river candy candy glass mask and from far away
I have read some more, but those are ones that had a LOT of chapters, so they are easy to remember,

I'm not really sure if it fits your requests on lots of sparkle and big bubbly eyes, and it's not 1970ish, but the art style DOES seem old, and the plot and characters seem interesting and nice, you should give it a try
