So basically any story where the main female protagonist saves a guy emotionally, from depression, family problems, addiction problems ect. ect. She can be the hugging, soothing type or a slap-to-the-face get over it then proceed to solve his problems type. Basically shoujo with reversed genders. I had a sudden urge to read something like this after having a similarly intense dream xD I was bawling when I woke up lol So please satisfy this Masochist here.

It can be Shounen, Shoujo, ect. I honestly do not care what the demographic is unless it's hentai or has ecchi. Romance is also optional, but it'd be nice addition. Just no Yoai, Yuri, Hentai, ecchi. A male protagonist is also okay, but I'd really like for it to be taken from the female's POV. Thanks~

Also, as a tiny additional request there's this oneshot I've been looking for that's about 2 people who met on a dating site and plan to meet up but are too scared so they each get a substitute to go for them. The substitutes fall in love and so do the original people who planned to meet up. I've been looking but couldn't find this oneshot. I think it was at the end of a series

When I first read your post I thought of Skip Beat or Dengeki Daisy but you apparently dropped them.

So my other suggestions are Sora Log, Charming Junkie and Kyou, Koi o Hajimemasu

Superior and Superior + The girl saves the main guy by being herself. He also saves her
Saver: the MC is constantly saving other people, and later is the bodygaurd of her amazingly competent love interest. She saves people with her personalitly tool.Both are really good and are fantasy.

If you really are an M, check out Kare Kano. Its probably one of the best manga about a girl saving someone.The arts bad in the beginning and the saving doesnt happen till later, but its still amazing. It makes you think. Stick with it.

I strongly recommend/second Kare Kano, it's a great manga and it fits your criteria, only from what I remember, the part you're looking for comes later in the story. Enjoy!

Are there any series that have certain impact-full saving event? Not like when the saving happens throughout the story. Like just before a guy falls into depression/eternal darkness/Self loathing/despair yadayada the female protagonist slaps him or hugs him then gives prep talk or holds his hand to solve his problems? Like a caring yet strong type. Sorry I probably seem like I'm impossible to please, but it's always fun to find good & amazing series to read! xD

Switch Girl is a really good one in my opinion.

I have the best manga for you! This is my all time most precious, favorite manga and it fits exactly to what you want. The heroine is the cutest thing in the world and there is NOW WAY anyone could hate her. It’s called [m] taisho wotome otogibanashi. I swear to god if this doesn’t cure deportation then I don’t know what will.
