I was watching a Chinese drama rendition of Mulan (Jin Guo Da Jiang Jun), and it had a scene where the girl, while crossdressing, becomes pledge brothers with another guy (at least, that's what I think happened; I started to watch past the English subs so soy no comprendo). The show also had some intense "bromancing" up till that point too. Things like "we will die on the same day" was thrown around and stuff like that.

Basically, I'm looking for pledge brothers/blood brothers/sworn brothers/bosom buddies/etc. where one of the party is a female disguised as a male. Alternatively, a strong bromance or leader of a gang. In either case, the male MUST NOT be aware that she is female at the time of the pledge or for a good part of the bromancing.

Must have:
- Female crossdresser as lead or a main character
- She must not be discovered as female (by the male) immediately
- Girl & guy have a good platonic relationship (at least for a time)

Bonus points (optional):
- Romance (later on)
- One of them calls the other brother/aniki/da-ge/gege.
- Male confused about his sexuality due to his pledge "brother"
- Male utterly clueless about his pledge brother's gender and just thinks the other person is a bit strange
- Female fighter
- She's popular with the ladies (but doesn't cross "the line" - Okayw/ a little molesting)

No:
- Dumb, ditzy, airheaded etc. female
- Hentai, yuri, ecchi

Other titles that fit this description (mostly Chinese dramas):
- Treasure Venture (Drama) - Bromance (might've had a pledge moment, don't remember)
- Mischievous Princess (Drama) - Pledge brothers with two guys. I think she's even the boss of a local gang at some point.
- Saiunkoku Monogatari - Haven't read the manga, but in the anime, she becomes bosom buddy #1 (lol) with one of the guys.

Sorta fits:
- Saver - Respected by lots of dudes. (No guy in the manhwa quite reaches bromance level. Romance, yeah.)
- Basara - Respected by lots of dudes. Maybe her and the pirate lady (obviously female), but not really.

I'm okay with dramas (hopefully not too lengthy).
